My 7th grade science teacher was soooo against me throughout the whole year (but i still made good grades, cuz i iz a genius). It all started when some random fem student asked her why it seemed like the moon followed her as she went on car rides with her parents. The teacher explained it could be caused by the rotation of the moon matching the rotation of the Earth in accordance to the direction they were driving. Being the curious student that i was, i raised my hand and asked if it was instead because of the distance between the earth and the moon, which would make the moon seem stagnant in the fast moving background of trees, roads, houses, mountains, etc. She tried to shoot me down, but I continued on with asking how it seems like the moon is following no matter which direction you're driving, at different speeds, at different times of the day. She had no answer and only reiterated her own explanation. She didnt even try to explain how i was wrong, she was just always right. This was the first of many moments i asked such "critical thinking" questions to her. I admit, some of them were a bit sarcastic, but most of them were inquisitive. And she had it out for me ever since. (Bish even tried to accuse me of trying to cheat on various tests, even my SAT) i passed her class easily, but it was ridiculous.
