Nvm I have discovered the cause do to my own oblivious actions I had my materials slots full which wouldn't allow me to get weapon parts.

How many is maxed weapon parts?

I'm not sure, I had no weapon parts with me at the time. I had to put a acendent shard into the vault then I was able to get the mat. I believe the max is maybe 200 per stack.
