I Just Got Hatemail for Shoulder Charging a Thorn User
I just got hatemail for winning a game of Rumble using my shoulder charge for the majority of kills. I used FoH once or twice, and got a single kill with my primary. Thankfully, that single kill wasn't the gamewinning one.
The single kill I got with my primary was on the aforementioned Thorn user, who, in his hatemail message, told me to use my primary (which I obviously did, on his Thorny face), and to stop using my shotgun, which I didn't use that match. He also said he reported me for boosting, which I didn't, as it wasn't my fault my friend was using Nechrocasm and she was quite tired.
[b]TL:DR[/b] I just pwn'ed a guy using Thorn by shoulder Charging the crap out of him. He sent me the hatemails of sweet delicious irony afterwards.
So, how often do you get stupidly ironic hatemail when you get hatemail?
Also, do you think it's fair to only shoulder charge? I think it is, because I'm going to be honest, it can easily rek your k/d.
Edit: I think because of how many replies I've gotten, I'm going to send him a message thanking him for sending me fan mail.

Last Iron Banner I also got a hatemail because I was using my shotgun to much (astral horizon). Started crying that I should use a REAL weapon. This while he was using thorn. Playing against him for about 5 matches and at the final 2 matches he started to use fellwinters lie. Pretty funny how people first shit on a weapon type and then start using it. Still beat him though.

Ahhh this feel. I get plenty of hate mail for shoulder charge and foh. Less for thorn as I only use it in trials or if I have some friend over playing crucible. Sadly I do have a few friends who don't play Destiny and Thorn is their equalizer in crucible lelelelel. The one I remember most wasn't even pvp related though. So here me and my group are, getting ready to 5man hard scrota soon after it's release. Admittedly, some of the guys aren't the best players so it just seems faster to run the abyss solo ( this was back before everyone could solo scrota) and cheese it. I decided not to cheese it as strikers are literally cheese in and of themselves and began my marathon of destruction. Bad juju, flashbang, armamentarium and shoulder charge. I -blam!-ed up and failed once and at this time one of the guys asks if someone off his friends list he played with the other day could join us and of course, as he is our friend we said SURE and allowed said random to join in. Told him to stay put, watch the magic happen. He proceeds to follow me and bumps me into a hole TWICE causing me to fail at the final ramp upwards (lamp 11 or so). This is now 3x I've failed to do something that typically is a one and done event so now I'm pissed. I tell this fool to stand still or kill himself off the bat or I as fireteam leader will show him the shape of Italy, to which he does so. I proceed to do the solo dolo thing past abyss and bridge. He gets his armor pieces from both checkpoints and just dips out, apparantly gaining what he wished. Then sends me this hm talking about how I'm pathetic and I'm being reported for CHEATING AND DRUG USE ..... because soloing portions of the raid is cheating and not capable of being done. TL;DR: Don't solo raids with random people, they'll think you're high and cheating. High for thinking you can solo it, cheating because you did.

I like to rush with my titan more then my Warlock and Hunter, I only use blink in Trials i prefer to use my height rather then blinking. And shoulder charge is just so fun to use.

11 RepliesPeople don't like striker in general because of the panic super and panic shoulder charge. To only use shoulder charge is borderline insane. Lulziest combo is shoulder charge + fist of panic.

3 RepliesGot called a punk bitch for using the universal verdict combo. Got told to use a [i]real[/i] primary..... Rekt his shit with mida...... Next time, it's wise to note that when hatemail challenges you to do something; if you can, do it and show them exactly why it was a bad idea sending. Mida is my try hard, sweat my balls off gun, if you ask me to use a "real primary" i just might oblige. Also, I don't use it often cuz giving myself a handicap is fun....its not fun getting 3.{insert number here} [i]every[/i] game. Its why my stats aren't higher by now, cuz i like having fun....mida makes it fun sure....but i prefer variety..... Tl;dr? Mida is my seriouz buzness gun for when im actually putting effort in the match, which i rarely do, so there :P

You are free to use anything you like. Don't worry about haters. As a hunter i use invis to stay off the radar. As a warlock i get most of my kills from Claws of A that gives me an extra scorch.

10 RepliesI had a 33 and 14 match in iron banner this last time. At least 20 or 25 of those kills were with the charge....love the charge! EMBRACE the charge....lol I wad honestly kinda diasapointed there was no hate mail afterwards since it was my best game ever..lol

I've never gotten hate mail before. Sometimes I feel like sending it to blink-shotguns or slide-shotguns but I don't because I would make myself look stupid

My most recent hate came from a Last Word user in rumble stating I should learn how to use a primary noob! I had a total of 22 kills that match, 6 being with a shotgun, the others a combination of primary, heavy, melee and grenades. Waved at him every time I killed him. Also I did so using no exotics too so he got salty

1 ReplyI teabagged a guy when the clock hit Midnight and New Years Day began when I finally killed him after he kept blink shotgunned, axion bolt, nova bombed, thrones me so many times (Yes Thorn was good then). I killed him with a fusion rifle as he blinked towards me to try to shotgun me. He sent me mail saying I'm garbage and that he killed me so many times and that I just sat back while my teammates got the kills (I was top of the leader boards the other 2 dudes had 6 assists total). He also said that if I were to 1v1 him, I get slaughtered. I simply replied that it's just became the New Year and I was letting him see the ball drop firsthand. I wished him good luck for the New Year and he said I don't need your luck you eat -Blam!-. Such a nice gentleman.

1 ReplyI had a guy (or child) abuse me for about 30 minutes because I wrecked him with the NLB in skirmish. I got him once with a shotty after he tried sneaking up on me and that's when the hate started to flow. I'm a noob, I don't know how to use a primary, all I'm good at is blink shotgun ( I was a golden gun Hunter but whatever) and that I should "git gud" and I should kill myself. Kids man, no respect these days.

I did recieve "hate male" once....my team got wrecked by another team in trials....and a guy who I never even tangled with sent me a message that said "head back to the f'n reef and get another card" (that one was complete) I never tbagg'd or anything...nor did my friends so I wrote back "do you suck your dad's Dck with that mouth"....to which he replied "good luck not going flawless"....to which i replied...."your dad said your mouth is flawless"......
