I Just Got Hatemail for Shoulder Charging a Thorn User
I just got hatemail for winning a game of Rumble using my shoulder charge for the majority of kills. I used FoH once or twice, and got a single kill with my primary. Thankfully, that single kill wasn't the gamewinning one.
The single kill I got with my primary was on the aforementioned Thorn user, who, in his hatemail message, told me to use my primary (which I obviously did, on his Thorny face), and to stop using my shotgun, which I didn't use that match. He also said he reported me for boosting, which I didn't, as it wasn't my fault my friend was using Nechrocasm and she was quite tired.
[b]TL:DR[/b] I just pwn'ed a guy using Thorn by shoulder Charging the crap out of him. He sent me the hatemails of sweet delicious irony afterwards.
So, how often do you get stupidly ironic hatemail when you get hatemail?
Also, do you think it's fair to only shoulder charge? I think it is, because I'm going to be honest, it can easily rek your k/d.
Edit: I think because of how many replies I've gotten, I'm going to send him a message thanking him for sending me fan mail.

If any Thorn user sends hatemail, their argument is invalid no matter the case

I fell in love with my Queenbreaker's Bow because I had an awesome run with it one round (combat sights = OHKO scout rifle, IMO) where I kept murking this one dude sniping most of the match. Sent me a message saying "nice aimbot (racial black slur)." One of my favorite moments in recent destiny. Also reported him for racial profanity. :D

Heres the story: so i was playing control. the map was Pantheon. so, as always, i get out my sniper and land 3 consecutive headshots. the guy messages me saying. "OMG U SKRUB YOU USE AIMBOT WITH MOUSE AND KEYBOARD CUZ U SUCK AT PVP." :|

After a 2 week vacation I got back home and hopped into some rumble to get used to destiny again. It was a close match and I lost by one kill. The player who one, who was TLW and blink shot gunning sent me a message saying No Skill. The next rumble match I completely destroyed him. Then a few weeks later I said he could use my gorgon cp to get the chest. Right before he got to the chest I kicked his stupid ass. Serves him right.

I got hatemail from ending some peoples trials passage where they called us thorn using scrubs even though they were using thorn so we did as well, just replied with enjoy your trials passage

The very first time I ever got hatemail was on Twilight Gap. I was sniping toward zone B from zone C (while someone else picked up heavy). This other sniper popped up, probably thinking he was going to take us out at heavy, I put a bullet in his head. A few minutes later, I still hadn't even used my heavy (was a machine gun), the same guy comes around a corner with a shotgun and starts running toward me. I pulled out my heavy and blasted him to bits. "Fkn camper noob" was in my inbox. I sent him a message back saying this: "Oh my god! My first ever hatemail! Thank you so much! I really hope your day goes well and you have some better games :)" Didn't get a response after that...

HUH?! LOOK WHO JUST GOT NOSCOPED 2X! U LITTLE NOOB! GO PLAY UR WII U LOSER BECAUSE I DONT THINK UR UP FOR CRUCIBLE YET! HA! U MAD!? They lost and he was in 4th place on team.

Lol, I hardly ever use striker, and even then, my hunter is my primary. However, I love sniping and get hate mail every day about a couple quickscopes that they don't think should have landed or some stupid shit like that. I enjoy it and just screw with people who send me hate mail for the lols. One guy even said that he checked my stats on destiny tracker and said that I'm only in the top 4% of players because I have my 30 year old cousin always playing for meXD. Laughed so hard at that one. I don't have any cousins younger than 40 and they all hate video games. Gg though. Just enjoy the moment and take the hate as a complement;).

4 RepliesI will likely get a lot of hatemail for saying this, but the Shoulder Charge definitely needs a hit box nerf. I have killed enemies with SC that CLEARLY didn't even connect. My right foot was 12 inches above and across from their right shoulder, for example. They still ded. They so ded. It does need adjusting so only ACTUAL connected hits get the kill.

He was butthurt that he was only feeding me kills by rushing me with an Astral Horizon (he was also wearing a probably undeserved set of Trials gear and the Flawless Emblem). How was I dispensing of him? One bullet from The Fulcrum + Throwing Knife to the domepiece = One awfully salty sea star.
