Mine have 157, get rekt scrubb0!
-
147 Discipline.. should have that respect lol
-
160 ha!

Except for the fact that most single-stat exotics drop at 130 [insert stat here] or below, so they're actually a pretty good deal. I've used Xur to trade in fully upgraded exotics for an extra 30-40 stat points before, you gotta do what you can to get those percentages up.
-
Different armor pieces have different min/max stat rolls
-
Edited by Zanithos: 8/11/2015 7:04:21 AMTrue, but 150 is pretty good for a single-stat piece. Best I've ever found for a single-stat was 183 (I think) discipline on a titan chestplate, and my best dual-stat are some 97/97 Purifier Robes, (which, if I can ever find anyone to help me out, are part of my master plan to become the most OP warlock sunsinger ever). 151 on some legs isn't bad though, especially when most raid pieces I've gotten go from 130-145. That's 50% right out of the gate, so all I'd need is 300 Intellect and 150 Strength and I'd be set, since I try to run my gunslinger with 300/150/150 and scavenger.
-
FYI in all stats, 275 is 100%
-
A stat only needs 270 to be 100%
-
True, but I aim for the 150 pieces, so my hunter's Intellect would ideally be closer to 300 (it's 250 at the moment though). You can inspect him if you like. I'm generally more of a warlock kinda guy, but my hunter goes full ham in PvE, I love it. :)
-
This logic does not register with me. Why aim for wasted stats? If I go over 100% I change my gear so as not to waste any, while still keeping my mains as close to 100 as possible. To be honest 10% of a Stat makes an extremely negligible difference in time-to-recharge of ur super/grenade/melee.
-
Basically, it's so if I ever switch out an armor piece, one stat will always be 100%, and the other two at 50% or higher. I'll probably have to reevaluate my setup after The Taken King anyway, since supposedly they're redoing the armor and stat system. That being said, your logic is sound. Your stat setup must be intense lol.

Edited by Psychedelia: 8/11/2015 7:45:37 AMIt's actually pretty loose. I know I use melee the least, but still want it up when I need it so I try to max the top two and leave that with the excess stats. Usually end up with 100/90/20-30. I don't overthink it. This logic applies to all three of my chars, although I use warlock melee far more than the Titan or hunter bc it's range is ungodly. And to clarify, I have all 3 raid/PoE sets on all my chars so I can mix and match as needed (and because of my vanity and love of cosmetics).
-
Edited by Zanithos: 8/11/2015 7:49:25 AMRight? Warlock melee > everything lol. Also, I'm right there with you on the vanity part lol. I saved my original warlock gear for a year just in case they let us upgrade it. Now I'm pretty sure my warlock is the only character in the game that looks like he does lol.
-
You would think a knife would extend further, but that isn't the case...
-
Well, it does sometimes, but you've gotta have that aim lol. That's why I use burning blade. Even if I miss and it lands on an enemy's toe, I still get a one-hit kill, or at least do a substantial amount of damage.
-
I advocate a 75-75-50 stat distribution or one that trades a bit of strength for disc
-
I would tend to agree, but scavenger on the hunter is possibly the most OP perk in the game, and almost completely negates the need for discipline or strength, as long as you've got a steady supply of ammo drops, hence my current setup. On the other hand, my warlock has (had) a 80/45/75 stat spread before House Of Wolves, but after I upgraded all his armor it shot up to 85/48/82, which I am absolutely OK with. I'm still super confused by people who spec for more Discipline than the other two stats though. Strength and intellect definitely seem more useful, especially if you've got a "melee hits grant grenade recharge" perk.
-
The melee stat is purely dependant on how much you plan to use it. I, for one, am almost never within melee range which makes strength almost pointless when I can get a grenade within 30 seconds instead
-
Guess so, that makes sense. :) I'm more of an "up close and personal" kinda guy myself, especially with my warlock. You know it's bad when you advocate for icebreaker being a long-range shotgun as opposed to a sniper lol. :P

Edited by Holy Elixir: 8/11/2015 11:28:51 AMHave you bought anything at all from xur? Anything?
