The Grunts were actually a lot of trouble for the Covenant- as the guy below me said- They had to send an Arbiter in to take control of the chaos. The Grunts had started attacking the covenant from inside the cities, and you wouldn't think, but with so many of them, they were actually on the winning side at a time before the Prophets resorted to sending in their best warrior.

  • Yes I am aware that grunts were a deadly force that's why the arbiter showed respect to the little guys

Not only did they have the power to be a deadly threat, but they actually had the balls to go against the entire covenant. The Grunts and Elites have a pretty special bond because of this, but the other species (Jackals for instance) still show detest against the Grunts. (It's actually one of the big reasons for the rebellion, the jackals had been treating them so bad)

  • Was just putting that out there. But The Grunts alone vs an entire group of species. I'm sorry but more than likely the Fallen would win.

  • A race that can't even align themselves under one leader but many that even fight each other

  • Yeah, I think the Grunts would have a good run but in the end (Especially with the Kell) they'd eventually loose. And knowing the Grunts, they'd probably join a house.

  • At least the grunts would unite themselves those little guys always seem to be in the right places at the wrong time

  • Yeah but if I'm being logical here. The Fallen would crush them lol I'm sorry but anyone who votes Grunts are Halo fanboys And Don't get me wrong I love Halo, but let's be realistic here. Yeah they stood a good chance against the covenant l, but all the Prophets had to do was send in one soldier to break the rebellion. And I imagine that the Kells (Leader of the houses) are 3x times as strong as the best Arbiter.

  • See that kind of makes things weird, because are these the grunts before or after the rebellion and before or after joining the covenant? Because the grunts are only as strong as they are because of the weapons that the covenant supplied them.
