I'd like to wander the city that we look out upon daily. Wander the streets. Maybe check out that lush forest. Patrols of the Great Wall maybe... Have commander Zavala come over the PA system requesting guardians to stop a potential wall breech....something...
"If you can see it, you can go there." That line should never have been said...if it wasn't truly meant to be.

This is not an adventure game. You are a soldier in a war.

Edited by CKguardian: 7/30/2015 9:00:53 PMa war that theoretically wages in the city below the Tower, no? i see your counterpoint about "wandering the streets" but to be fair, you can just as easily "wander" around the available areas. there are collectibles like dead ghosts in the game and hidden points of interest like the original loot cave and whatever's going on in that room where the Ogre spawns (edit: referring to Skywatch again, of course), after all. both things no story mission and only 1 objective (on patrol, where you're literally given license to explore, no less) brings you to.

I was more saying just outside the city walls. There's supposed to be a massive wall, built by Titans that safeguards the city. Breaching parties would no doubt be a viable threat, no? You were proposing that massive scale battle...what better of a place to have it, than right at our front door! Make us truly feel like we're fighting for the continuation of life.

I've been here since day 2 my friend. I've explored pretty much every facet of the explorable environment the current game has to offer. And there is no war inside the "last" (I'm sure another safe city will emerge eventually) safe city on earth. I've found the ghosts. I'm like the rest of the community in that we can't wait till it reaches the massive scale we were promised. I love this game, and you can't deny that we all want more.

This soldier is entitled to down time and adventure. Heaven forbid we hold them to past claims to make the future games better.

agreed. i think we are far off from the current universe expanding that greatly. but it cant come soon enough. at the very least we need more events in the current social spaces.
