Serious Suggestions

I'm not going to bash the game in the slightest because there's already enough of that, but I want to just offer a few suggestions that would make all of the players happy and settled....for year 2 of destiny give us a story that we can truly invest in throughout the year, just think of how fun this community could become if we were all talking about different aspects of a great story, remember halo...spectacular story, all the halo players were full heatedly invested in the heroism of master chief....give us the opportunity to make our own stories, give us the power to customize our guardians to a larger extent, right now everybody is equipped with the same armor just in different colors, if you let us add "sticker", I couldn't think of a better word for small decorations, to our armor to show off our characters, the sane goes for weapons, let us change the color and look of the sights. Please comment any ideas you have because I honestly want to hear them, plus if a lot of people comment or favorite the thread maybe bungie will even check this out

    • at this point I'd just like at least 1 decent vehicle that can hold a fireteam obviously I'm biased towards a warthog but I don't want a warthog clone - something that fits the destiny world that holds at least 3 guardians and has some warthog-like abilities (shotgun passenger can shoot/throw grenades, some sort of tail-gunner that and some pvp maps that are actually big enough to use vehicles in an intelligent way...

        Here are some quick thoughts. Some of my suggestions would probably never see the light of day in Destiny, however they may be good candidates for Destiny 2 or later: Weapons: 1. Remove all random perks from weapons and turn them into open slots 2. Add new items (weapon mods) that can be added to weapons with open slots (these mods determine the weapon's set of perks) 3. Weapon mods would also be given a Rarity (common, rare, legendary, exotic, etc.) And can only be applied to weapons of equal or greater rarity 4. The weapon's rarity determines the number of available slots. 5. Remove the attack rating, it is meaningless. Armor: 1. Remove class restrictions, instead implement armor types (i.e. Heavy, Medium, Light, etc.). Heavy armor wearers would be slow but able to take a beating for example 2. Any class can wear any armor 3. Remove Intellect, Discipline, and Strength modifiers from armor and replace them with Armor, Recovery, and Agility stats 4. Remove armor perks and turn them in open slots. 5. Add new items (armor mods) that can be added to armor. These follow the same rules as weapon mods Class: 1. Remove Armor, Recovery, and Agility from class training and replace them with Intellect, Discipline, and Strength Crafting: 1. Add skill trees for crafting weapons, armor, and mods 2. Add "blueprints" or "schematics" for weapons, armor, and mods that can be crafted Vehicles 1. More vehicle types (something other than sparrow / interceptor) 2. More variety with vehicle stats 3. Add racing circuits on planets Planets: 1. Add small outposts / towns / bases on some panets. These could have npcs that give you quick quests for planetary resources for example. 2. More exploration Edit 1: Clan Halls: 1. Add buildings that clans can buy, furnish, decorate, and build 2. These can be used for sparring (in-clan crucible matches), meetings, etc...
