There is no choice,much of the bible including the TaNaK and all the way to revelation heavily implies and or confirms the doctrine of predestination. Biblical Free will is a fairly modern mode of thought and the fact that we were created by the traveler for his purposes hints at predestination as well. What does Vishnu have to do with this?

He is a creator. I do not seeing GOD directly creating us. GOD would not say the following: Bare witness to no false idols. Take NO OTHER GODs before me. 1 true being would not have to specify as if to have an equal.... Predestination is not what I would consider hard proof especially when taking 1000 plus year old writings from man. Man cannot even keep the story straight down a line of 100 people telling each other the something. So who knows what was lost in1000 years. I bet MOST of our creators words are gone and substituted with what best suitesams needs. IMO.

The reason yhwh spoke like that is because the early Israelites were not monotheist they were monlatrists(believed in many gods worshipped one),which changed mostly during the Babylonian imposed exile. The canonical bible as it is written heavily implies predestination. Your theological perspectives and opinions are irrelevant to this discussion/topic

So 2 peoples with 2 different out takes.. Seems other were USING THEIR OPINION as well.... something man gas done & always will. My opinion is as relevant as your part, do to no one knows if what those people say is even true. that was their tak/opinion on how to worship. It is all an idea in mans heads. So to say one is relevant and another is not based on what other men have said and written over 1,000 is naïve at best.
