It would have been awesome if it had been in from day 1. Implementing it now? It would significantly change the game, and most gamers fear change! I hate the loot system, but having gone through the grind for 9 months? I feel the same selfish "I earned this XXX" as everyone else. It would introduce a ton of extra problems with the game. Real economy would be transferable - items for cash etc. Limited trading - items received at the end of a raid/strike being exchangeable - would avoid this, and be a little better than what we have. Honestly though, I'd prefer it if the original plan, or what has been reported as being the plan and may or may not be true, that all exotics should have been the reward for completion of quest lines - that would have been better. No need for trading then - you want the Icebreaker? Complete the Icebreaker mission.
