Is it Worth Deleting and Re-Leveling my Warlock?
So here's the deal; I'm considering deleting and re-leveling my Warlock so I can redo the character creation. My Warlock was my first character, and I used the same face as I used in the Beta thinking it would be the same, but it turned out to be pretty bad in the final game. My only concerns are the following:
1. Will I need to do the Triumphs again that were done on that character? (I.E. Chests, Public Events, Skolas)
2. Is it worth re-leveling factions? I have not ranked up any of the side factions, so it's just Queen, Judgement, Vanguard, Crucible, and Cryptarch.
Has anyone else done something similar? If so, please tell me how it went and if you regret it or not.
TL;DR Should I remake my Warlock?

I've done it to all my characters, I'm fine with it, triumphs aren't hard, if you had them done before, you know what to do

If it will cause you to lose triumphs - don't. Otherwise - go for it. Eris Morn rank is worthless now. Queen's Judgment doesn't seem to be all that important. Crucible and Vanguard will suck until you get to level 3.

Then in TTK Bungie will be, "Look you can change the look of your Guardian!"

I did exactly that. Don't do it. It's so much more work and a bigger p.i.a. than you think. I still haven't bothered replaying all the TDB story missions. Trust me. It isn't worth it. At all. Do. Not. Do. It. [spoiler]Seriously. Don't.[/spoiler]

I've done it on all 3 over the past 6 months. Most recent was my Hunter - still have yet to complete the Bladedancer subclass. To be honest, the biggest thing about it is maxing the subclasses again. I don't regret doing it, I have gained one thing or another by doing so - more than I have lost.

1 ReplyStrangers rifle. Poe 28 exotic, fun to level up again. So i say yes. Your year one things will be fine. Factions are a bit shitty to relevel but eh. I say go for it

I just did it. I wiped all 3 of my characters (33, 32, 32) and my entire inventory. However, I had only returned to the game about 6 weeks earlier, so I didn't lose much (5 exotic weapons, 10ish exotic armor pieces, etc). All my characters look exactly how I want them now and I'm enjoying the reboot -- even bought the DLCs yesterday. I'm assuming you're not going to lengths I went to (ie, deleting your inventory) so I'd say do it.

4 RepliesDid the same for a hunter. The only Triumph I lost was chests because I had the rest on my other characters already. I feel it was worth it.

If you like playing a warlock enough and think you could do better by doing so, I'd say go for it.
