Another thought. Again, Im bored and just spitfiring stuff. Mostly curious about other's thoughts on it. The Room: The boss room is a huge circle with three floors. Floors are accessed by rotating stairs. The middle of the stage is cut out and only a single floor, where the very tall boss stands. Boxes and thin walls for cover spawn randomly on each floor. On each floor, there is three mounted railguns, each one a different color (Purple, Blue, Red). On the back of them, there is a slot for a fusion core. The railguns cannot fire without a core, and require a few seconds to charge. After being shot a railgun needs 45 seconds to regenerate. Each floor has 12 doors for enemies to spawn in, along with the boss spawning them. The Boss: The boss will spawn with a random shield element and a colored spot on its body somewhere (Height is aligned with the railguns). The boss will fire burst of five projectiles, and does not turn on his own. In order to damage the boss, the players must: 1. Bring one of the three spawned cores to a railgun matching the color of his shield. Each set of cores spawns 30 seconds after either a failed attempt or a success at damaging him 2. Fire the railgun at him to break the shield. He will then turn directly towards that railgun, exposing his spot to another railgun. 3.A If the spot lines up will a railgun of its color, the player has to bring the core to that railgun and fire at the spot. 4.A The spot will go green. All players will a line of sight must shoot at it. They will have ten seconds. 3.B If the spot does not line up with its matching railgun, players will have to bring the second core to a different one of the SAME color as the shield, and fire it to turn him around. 4.B The third core MUST go to the required railgun. The shot has to be fired at the colored spot, and players will shoot at the green spot, same way as you would normally. 5. Players will repeat that three times in total. If that does not kill the boss, the boss will get harder. 6. Room goes dark. All phases will be the same as before, however now the fusion cores will be required to look around. No matter what, once the boss reaches 30% health, he will enrage, spawning more minions from his own body along with randomly disabling a railgun every minute. If one needed is turned off, players will have to get in cover and wait it out. The room with automatically go dark by now. The boss fight will on average take five to seven minutes to complete, with about four or five repeats of the process. If the fight takes 15 minutes, or 8+ repeats, he will fire much much larger projectiles and spawn more enemies. If it takes 20 minutes or 10+ repeats, he will auto wipe the raid team. On Hard Mode, the room is always dark, cores take longer to spawn, the boss has 20% more health, and the railguns take a minute to charge. The boss will also disable two railguns at the same time, along with locking the core holders in place for 10 seconds during enrage. How's this sound? Just curious
