For those who don't seem to understand why they aren't going to fix Xur...
If you take a step back and use some common sense its quite simple.
First off they would have to shut down the servers, which is a pain for EVERYONE involved. Then they would have to go in and manually apply a new weapon to Xur's inventory.
[b][u]And that is a much bigger deal than anyone on here seems to grasp[/u][/b]
Because obviously instead of it being the usual random weapon they will be having to choose a weapon. Obviously everyone and their mother will demand G-Horn, which we all know they would never do with it being in its current state.
Then once he comes back with Red Death or SUROS people would then just bitch and whine about it not being *Insert Exotic here*
As if that isn't bad enough then the "BUNGIE Y U DO DIS 2 US" threads would start and the "ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY TO KEEP G-HORN FROM US" threads would start. Leading to a FAR FAR bigger mess than Xur simply not having a weapon.
[b][u]TL;DR Bungie won't fix Xur this weekend because they know better than that. They know the community would then only whine and bitch about it not being the weapon they wanted it to be.[/u] [/b]

Shut down servers? They seem to shut down on their own just fine. They just need to wait for 6-8 hours for their window.

For the most part this community is toxic and beyond repair. Bungie has -blam!-ed up a fair bit, we know it, they know it. But the entitlement runs strong with a lot of folks here. If you bought the game and both dlc packs how much did you spend? 100$. A little more if you bought collectors edition. We have played hundreds of hours, explain to me how they owe us anything? The community will whine. 2)Bungie will fix him and give him a random weapon which turns out not being a Gjally. The community will whine. 3)Bungie will fix him and give him Gjally. Bull crap. People will whine regardless. They don't want to fix xur because they are lazy as heck. They have fixed iron banner before without taking down the servers and so the same can be done for xur. Your explanation and reasons are false and horrible.

It was when megaman was predicting all of the upcoming resets and bungie got pissed off so they put in a back door so they could edit rest elements on the fly And they wouldn't have to "pick a weapon" all they would have to do is let their precious rng system do jt

6 RepliesTotal shit there are two xurs. One with a scheduled gun drop. A second they made after megaman datamined the first xurs schedule. The second xur can have guns put in. Now they took out the gally from the first xurs schedule (to keep us grinding) now they are struggling to get it back in the schedule after blocking it.

Because these people are assholes. They spend more time playing with people's heads. Then they do actually improving their game. 4 RepliesFirst Xur is clearly not RNG and anyone with a brain can easily see that if they look at what he has sold up to this point. The 2 big daddy weapons of the heavy category Gjally and Thunderlord have only ever been sold 1 time. Besides PS4 exclusives which can never be sold by Xur until they become available to xbox, he has sold every other possible exotic weapon exactly 3-4 times. No more, no less. The odds of every weapon being a perfect 3 or 4 is statistically improbable if not impossible. Bungie clearly has a program or team working in the background to rotate the pool accordingly. Here is the item list. I didn't bother looking at the exotic items such as chest and helm releases.
