Hi! This is very confusing but it seems that it does have something to do with the expansions. I know that Xbox has been cracking down on some legal things like friends giving downloaded games to other friends by signing in on there account. So maybe it is coming from that too.
My best suggestion is to buy the expansions on your Xbox account and download it on to your hard drive from your account. My guess is that it should work then
Luckily you are just in time. With the Taken King expansion coming out, the collectors edition not only comes with the new DLC but both the expansions from before. Meaning Destiny fans who are getting it and already have the content are going to want to get rid of them. Possibly very cheep or even Free.

Thanks for the help, I figured it's with the expansions, I'll probably end up getting it before I can resolve the issue, the problem is that I had done this with my cousins account and it still did not work. But, yes I'm looking forward to the Taken King very much

You tried downloading content on your cousins account from your Xbox?

Yeah, I deleted all my Destiny content, downloaded his profile, and tried to reinstall the game again. But, I ran into the same issues as before.

That's odd. It might be because of the whole Xbox thing and then cracking down on the sharing games thing. Wish I could help more but sadly I just don't know. My best bet is to get the dlc on your account. It could be the Xbox as well though. What model is your 360? (Elite, Slim, Platinum)

Yeah, I hope it's just the expansion content stuff. My xbox is good, works perfectly with any and every other game, it's an Xbox Pro, from 2008 I want to say? But, like I said, it's not likely that, because the download just stops at the same exact time every time and my xbox works perfectly fine with literally everything else.
