The only players they respect are the turd elitist streamers. A simple look at deej's Twitter reveals that! 'The leaders of the community' my ass!

Edited by Boz: 7/9/2015 8:00:42 PMThe reason they support a few streamers is because of self-interest. These streamers promote the games to other people. It's so heart warming when they talk about the "community" but in the end.. it's never about community, it's about money and new players as the bottom line. This is why most of us day-1 players keep getting shafted. We can't even get exclusive emblems or guns or something that makes us feel good for sinking thousands and thousands of hours in and went through all the garbage with their games and terrible balancing. Just look at this "Legendary" status emblem. It's again shafting all of us who played from day 1. Just when you thought they'll give us a micro-sized appreciation with a stupid emblem to set us apart.. they make the "Become Legend" emblem available to everyone who buys the game and gets to the highest level and does 1 raid on hard of each before Sept. Now let's put this in perspective.. I have multiple friends who bought a game a few weeks ago. They are all already maxed out to 34, have tons of guns (mostly because they can buy all the gear and stuff already to get them to the latest level), they have us to help them and in 2 weeks they can get to the max level. So someone who goes and gets a game 3 weeks prior to the deadline of "Legend" emblem can complete the checklist and get it.. So where's the exclusivity for all of us who grinded 400+ hours alone to get materials to upgrade our gear when none of the new scrubs will ever know about it? Where is the appreciation where we spent hundreds of hours on confluxes in Vault of Glass on level 29 for weeks on end to get that one piece of gear everyone can now buy? Nowhere.. They've been shafting us over and over again like we don't matter at all.. not even a freakin' emblem for the effort.. just constant F-U over and over again.

Yep. And the fact that they not only support but encourage try hard elitism it's ridiculous. It's like punishing the kid that gets beat up, and not the bully.

Well said. Bump!

Bungie always makes it seem like everything is all good in their interviews. Ignorance is bliss
