Is the Xbox Live account you're trying to use already linked with a different account? One that might not have Mythic status?

I only have the one account, so I don't see how it could be.

Hmm... What's strange is that it doesn't say that your account has played Destiny from my perspective. What you said about your Microsoft account having both its Email and Gamertag changed could be the issue- that's my bet, anyways.
