Need advice fast! Should I sell my Xbox One?
Is there any reason to keep my Xbone? I own a PS4 and play it WAY more than my One. Last time I played my One was around 3 months ago. Are there any games that I just CAN'T MISS on Xbone in the near future? Don't tell me about the new Halo, I already know and don't care (I'm a fan of the old ones but the new doesn't interest me). I've got a guy ready to trade for a WII U right now!

gamepad, wii controller and nunchuck, scribblenauts unlimited, nintendoland, super mario bros for wii, kart for wii, brawl for wii, and DK for wii
I have a One with no kinect, Titanfall, and AC Black Flag. How much cash should I ask for to go with the trade?

I have a few games downloaded but I don't think I'll include them for two reasons:
1. If I want to get an Xbox again I would want my original acoount and digital games.
2. There is no actual license transfer feature that I know of. I know all about the "home console" system, but that can be undone pretty easily (even accidently). I don't trust myself to remember not to transfer home Xbox to another console. I don't trust the buyer with my account since I also own a 360.
I have Destiny, Halo MCC, FC4, CODAW, BF4 Premium, and Minecraft. I've also got a bunch of Games with Gold titles.

If you don't enjoy your xbox and aren't looking forward to any games for it, then sell it if course. :) No sense in letting a console collect dust if you're never going to play it.

9 RepliesI find myself in a similar position. I have both consoles, love my PS4 a bit more. If it wasn't for Destiny I probably wouldn't touch my XB1. Even still I've been playing The Last of Us multiplayer more than Destiny lately. I would NEVER trade my xbox1 for a WiiU though! I'm keeping it for some good exclusives later. BTW does anyone know if FO4 is going to be co-op? That answer will determine which console I buy it for.

Aswell as gears and Halo 5 this year. I'm keeping my Playstaion but it's packed away till I can get FIFA 16 to play with friends. Il be getting the uncharted box set and battlefront on the PS4 aswell. BO3 il be getting for the Xbox so I'm happy with both consoles. Edit: just pack it away like I have with my PS4 and forget about it until a game comes out you want.

2 RepliesXbox One is worth WAYYYY more than a Wii U, especially now that Nintendo is abandoning it in favor of a new console. Just wait a few years for the NX which will undoubtably be backwards compatible.

I wouldn't sell it. There's some free games coming out that may not be your style but you might end up enjoying them. World of Tanks, Smite, Fable Legends just to name some future ones. Neverwinter is out now. There's also some good indie games like Ori and the Blind Forest And look to the future. We are going to be seeing more of Scalebound soon plus some other exclusives. Below, Flame in the Flood, Cuphead. I'd hold off on the trade. And no offense to wii owners but it sounds like you'd be getting robbed.

Its the kind of game that gives hope to the industry given that it's in EVERY way living up to the long-neglected dreams of the FPS genre. This is precisely the Halo we've been asking explicitly for for years (they finally added AI's to multiplayer and made automatic weapons relevant to multiplayer gameplay. Holy -blam!-, they finally rectified [i]Halo CE's[/i] greatest shortcomings!) and you're a damned fool if you're not going to take at least a look at it. 2. (which is the important point) You're also a fool for looking at a gaming console as a short-term investment. They cost hundreds of dollars and trading them in only gets you small percentage of that back. If something comes out in a year or two's time (ex. Ion) which peaks your interest then your trade in now just stands as a couple-hundred-dollar donation to the charity of Gamestop. Its the kind of thing they encourage but you should never consider. The only reason you should sack a console is if it dies. Otherwise you're just settings yourself up for a particularly expensive form of regret (I have never seen it otherwise in my personal experience.) 3. Why don't you have Sunset Overdrive? God dammit man, you're not doing very well here. :)

I have a Ps4 and a Xbone. I play my Xbone way more but also enjoy the Xbox exclusives more. It's all preference.

I have a ps 4, but if I were you I would hang on to the Xbox One as well. Not only because of future exclusives, but some games just seem to run better on one system than another. I also have had Xbox 360 and a ps 3 and used them both for different games.

4 RepliesI ultimately chose an Xbox for Halo 5. Now that its been out a while Microsoft has finally tasted what it's like to be in 2nd place. This is good for us! Microsoft has been providing us with some awesome updates and features. A HUGE one is backwards compatibility. If you have ever owned an Xbox 360 and have tons of 360 games I would KEEP the Xbox One. Eventually you'll be able to play all those awesome games again on the Xbox One and you don't have to pay for it if you already own it. Other than that.. If you play your PS4 more and don't have a huge collection of 360 games, I would trade it for a Wii.
