Another thing that should be edited to your ESO vs. Destiny comparison, is the maintenance provided by the various development teams.
ESO was a garbled mess of code when it was first released to the PC market. Zenimax worked diligently to fix these problems, thus making ESO probably the most content filled world of it's kind to date. When a lot of people are critical of ESO, they're referring to what the game looked like on the launch date, they choose to ignore the fact that Zenimax has turned a terd into a shiny golden egg for gaming.
Destiny, on the other hand, was a terd on day one. And across multiple paywalls the game still remains content-less, filled with bugs and broken mechanics, with only a few words added to the mere sentence of the game's storyline.
In this day in age games are bound to have day one woes, it's the nature of the beast. The true test is how a company deals with these problems, listens to their fan base, and ultimately overcomes their challenges. Zenimax/Bethesda loves games, Bungie/Activision loves money, and that's what it really boils down to.

Agreed 100%,.

I've mentioned this a few times. And you're absolutely right, all the Desticles spout day one ESO woes that have been fixed. Completely ignoring that Destiny is still mired with its day one word. Have you had a error that kicks you to the menu in ESO? I haven't.... Destiny was a thrice nightly error code. Sometimes I'd have to clear my consoles cache. I haven't cleared my xbones cache since I traded Destiny in.

Edited by ParasiticFilth: 7/7/2015 4:46:35 AMMan, I would constantly be getting a Noah's Ark filled with error codes on Destiny. I had guns completely dissipate into thin air, while stacking them in the vault. Two days later they would mysteriously show back up unleveled. I've had a few errors with ESO as well though. Just recently, my buddy was riding his horse through the ground and walls. Nothing detrimental towards his overall experience with the game. He found it comical. In fact he was joking around with it, instead of raging out in contrast to a Destiny setting. When errors occur in Destiny you've got to suffer more dire consequences, where the stakes are higher.
