Help me counter Thorn players?
Can anybody give me tips on how to beat Thorn players? I mean, I have the red death and all but I can't seem to beat them with it.

MIDA (lightweight) + max agility + dance machines = light speed strafe ability

Strafe, jump, cover. Shotgun range is best cause they have a harder time landing headshots. Otherwise use scouts at long range and strafe and use cover

1 Reply- Counter with The last word at close/medium range - try maxed scout rifle at long range with strafing (must not let 2 thorn hit connect - preemptively fire before you get in a gun fight with the thorn (if you know the they are around the corner start firing) - keep your distance from a thorn user ( most are bad shots at medium/ long range) - tag team with a buddy - counter with a thorn - strafe, strafe and strafe some more V(^_^)V

Dance machines and mida. Or just mida on any character with max agility. Use cover. Pop in and out. Shoot for the head.

Hawkmoon or TLW rip thorn... me personaly destroy thorn users with my suros. Its still deadly af if u are accurate

Get yourself in the habit of strafing, the sights on Thorn suck. Plus they get a bit of screen glare from the green poison glow, they could lose sight of you. I've been lucky with Red Hand IX countering it as well. One headshot will decimate their shield. If they get hit that hard, they usually panic and run.

Use single point on red death to move faster while aiming. Then strafe or try a faster shooting pulse rifle

I kill people with using Thorn with my No Land Beyond all the time. If you get the headshot from any range, they don't stand a chance [spoiler]the trick is getting the headshot...[/spoiler]

Red death. If you kill him even after they land two headshots, the healing perk will save you
