Anybody here remember Bungie Day back in 2009, back in the days of Halo 3? As I recall, Bungie hosted a huge online event that day in Halo 3 multiplayer; a special playlist that was only up for the day of July 7th, 2009.
It featured dozens of custom multiplayer maps built on the Forge maps "Foundry" and "Sandbox". Bungie had teams running through this playlist all day; and if you got matched with them, and you beat them, you got the ultimate prize Halo 3; the then-exclusive Recon armor. You could also receive this valuable prize if you fulfilled certain hidden criteria in the playlist; this is how I got MY Recon armor, after grinding that playlist all day. Still not sure what criteria I met to get it, though...
My idea? Hold a similar event for Destiny, for Bungie Day this year; July 7th, 2015... but exclusively on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
A Crucible playlist, with level advantages enabled (like Iron Banner), maybe 6v6 Clash on every map in the game, including vehicle maps (First Light and Bastion) along with any and all DLC maps from The Dark Below and House of Wolves. Not DLC required, just in the rotation for those who have them.
Your mission? Play. If you get matched with a team of Bungie employees, fight. If you win, you get the ultimate prize for a Destiny player on Xbox:

Hawkmoon.

The Exotic hand-cannon exclusive to PlayStation consoles, arguably the best hand-cannon in the game.
As with Bungie Day 2009, you'd also have a chance to earn Hawkmoon by fulfilling certain hidden criteria in this playlist. For those on Xbox, this would be the only way to get Hawkmoon until it's PlayStation exclusivity expires in the Fall.
What do you guys think? I had a lot of fun in Bungie Day 2009 in Halo 3 multiplayer, and I got a pretty sweet prize for it. It'd be awesome to have something like this again, in Destiny.
