The speaker would not let another instance like this happen like with Toland and so I too was banished. Now, there are tales of guardians reporting sights on the Earth and moon of a lone hunter, dressed all in black, wielding a weapon of unknown properties but known Hive origins. They say to be wary as he is Valroy the Exiled, apprentice to Toland the Shattered. I can guarantee a majority will say 1 out of 4 legendary engrams were actually legendary while the rest were rare weapons or gear from Legendary Engrams.... You new kids on this destiny block will never know and feel those horrors we had to go through... Today's Destiny is far, like I mean far far better then launch day and you damn well better appreciate it... We seriously went through hell us Launch day, Launch Week and Year one Players...

Thorn is a corrupted weapon, and you should not search for it, as it's previous owner was driven mad by the darkness. Suros has former glory in the crucible, but Lord salad-man...Saladin...saw it too great, and so he weakened the reign of auto rifles. Where was I? Oh, yes, travelling. Be weary when you travel to the reef, as the awoken have ulterior motives. I myself am an awoken, yet I am a guardian. Mara sov and her brother's cross are not to be taken lightly, as they run the prison of elders. I slew a gate Lord, as part of the demands of the reef, to go to the black garden. My fireteam slew the heart, and light was restored to the garden. It is legend that ghosts used to grow and tend to the garden, until it became corrupt. The cryptarch came to us, and told us there was a place known as the vault of glass. Titans before us went down in search of the riches that lay below, like kabr and his forgotten fireteam. We went down, and his presence in the aegis helped us. We destroyed...we think...atheon, vex master of time. Months passed, and we expanded our zone. We push the darkness back, and the places captured are now training grounds for guardians like you. This is the crucible. My fireteam helped set up pantheon, see? Then, returned one of ikora's hidden warlocks. You know her as Eris. Many guardians once tried to slaw crota, but all failed. Eris's fireteam did not return, though, are rumored to live. That is Toland the mad. Do not seek him. Eris reported, and chose guardian fireteams to slay crota. He is a give demigod, mind you. We found the crystal where he laid dormant, and destroyed his physical self. Then, we defended into the hellmouth, like countless fireteams before, to kill him once and for all. We succeeded. Then, the reef called for help, and we answered. The queen has us capture skolas, whom the nine released. Again, trust neither the nine or the reef...even with the help of receiving weapons, expect nothing. And so, we captured skolas after tracking him across venus as he tried to gain power over the other kells. The reef opened the prison of elders, only for skolas to die by our hands. Oryx comes for us, and you have awoken at a terrible time indeed, but now you know our story. Make your own. Become legend, guardian.

Back in my day sonny, we had to walk to the loot cave, through old Russia, 6 miles uphill both ways. Eh,what's that? What's the loot cave you ask?
