This post is just like telling a legend , here's mine
Old one , elder of the first warlocks , exalted scholar, vanguard of the young ,where did that fusion rifle come from . Years ago I entered a vault to defy time , and I destroyed a mythical vex God. As I ripped his soul from his decaying body it formed this key. A key to time. Because of this , You will not find him in any books because he never existed , did exist , and still does. But that is the past , and you are the future. I will have existed , will exist , and will never have existed . But when you are in need guardians, channel the solar light within , and say my name . For with my key I will bend time for you , as I am the immortal father time himself. Go forward as the council commands young ones, and call upon me when your lights end is near, for time stop for one man.
Come on guys lets be creative I wanna hear your legends to , I can't wait to share this in the future.
Edit: let's keep this going let them know the strength of us elder guardians
Edit : I can't answer them all , but keep the might of the elders rolling
Edit : so many , lest get this to highest rated guys , Father Time will do his best to answer all posts
Edit: thanks everyone for the huge amount of replies
Edit: so many let's destroy that reply button

I could tell you about a rocket launcher that defied the gods, that made them kneel before guardians...A gun so powerful, it shines hope in the deepest, darkest corner of our solar system. A gun that drove many guardians mad of power, while others with the desire of obtaining it. A gun that even the legendary Xur dare not sell a second time, for he knew that instrument of destruction wasn't build to be sold, but to find in places where many dare not step foot. The gun would present itself to a guardian that was worthy of its power. It was made to destroy the indestructible, capable of making anyone tremble, even on the right hands...The legends speak of...Gjallarhorn

Sit down, and let me tell you of the Crucible reign of the Auto Rifles and its king, the Suros Regime. There was once a time when Auto Rifles were not the peashooters they are today. Pulse Rifles took the back seat to the Suros and it's compatriots, and the Auto Rifles ran rampant throughout the Crucible. However, there was a light in this dark, dark time: The Vex Mythoclast. Few players bore this elusive weapon to combat the threat of the Auto Rifles. The Mythoclast and Suros Regime struggled for control of the Crucible, and in the end the Mythoclast emerged victorious. Times passed, the infamous reign of the Thorn came and went. Here we sit in the midst of a time when Pulse Rifles run the show, but just know that the Suros Regime will rise again. And when it does, we will all be doomed.

Edited by Zarduma: 7/3/2015 7:24:52 AMAh, hello there fellow Guardian. Just reminiscing about the past. Take a seat... Were you even a guardian at that time? Don't answer that I already know you weren't you are definitely new from what I see about that old gear. Let me tell you about a time long ago when we knew only a fraction of what we have today, and what we have today is only a fraction of tomorrow. 20 years ago the man I looked up to and still do, Kabr went into the vault. He didn't return. He went by himself but was never alone. Kabr formed a weapon of his own light something I have grasped in my own hand time and time again as I hope you do yourself one day. This weapon as we called it “The Aegis” is the only reason I am here talking to you right now. I owe my life to Kabr, and anyone who has passed the trial of the vault knows this as well. Wearing about the same state of equipment you yourself are right now, my Brigade successfully destroyed Atheon, Times Conflux as I have hundreds a time again. All these words probably mean nothing to you, but they will someday. My head is riddled with memories from the past, present, and future, but I still have no clue what’s yet to come. I can only hope that the next adventure is just as good as the last and brings peace to our lives. That second part is a long shot, but that’s what being a Guardian is about my friend. Not everything has to be about war, I once befriended a Vandal. He would always stay near these caves down at the Cosmodrome. We couldn’t speak but we needn’t to. We both had a goal of future peace. Sure we knocked each other upside the heads every now and then, but it was all in good fun. After a month or so of meeting this Vandal he... he changed. He wasn’t the friend I had and was just like all the other Fallen... The Galaxy is a strange place my friend. Think smart and fight true, for the ideal of peace will keep us invigorated. Sayonara. -Drex Maximus Titan of The 1st Brigade P.S. Drex Maximus is the name I gave my Titan :P

You young lights have it easy. Back in my day skill was actually required to get anywhere, but now the gods of destiny have grown soft. They bend there wills towards the hateful crowds of unworthy followers. Back in my time young one getting an exotic was exciting, but now only a few really matter. I remember traveling in the barren wastelands of earth and beyond dedicating hours upon hours collecting materials to further strengthen our gear. But now it is handed to you on a silver platter. Although the gods have grown weak and pitiful, we the Guardian Elders carry and will continue to carry the legacy of our Destiny.

Edited by Dog_Of_War_1138: 7/3/2015 6:38:31 AMI pursued the Blades of Crota across the Cosmodrome and on the Moon. I hunted Wolves without rest, seeking the treasures of the Fallen. I knew my enemies' names, they may have known mine... some lived, most died. We all became Legend. Your turn, Guardian. Join us.

"All i can remember was gunning down those damned hive. Over and over they poured from that cave, and one by one they dropped. At one point, it even became fun, mindlessly killing thousands of hive. Looking in thr horizon, seeing a massive array of colors, ranging from green, blue... a purple?! Excitement filled my heart, after brutally murdering countless hive, I acquired a great beauty. Rushing as fast as I could go on a previous generation console. Finnaly ariving I sprint at top speed, straight for rahool. I shove the engram in his face, gasping for breath i said "decode... now..." And then the great sadness engulfed my body. It became a blue item. I became angered, I then went back to that magic cave, only to repeat my horrible crimes. Murdering hive, collecting those beautiful purple engrams. I began to give up after all my purples became blue. Later, after these events we learned that even a million deaths is not enough for Master Rahool..."

Come now little guardians, lend me your ears for I could tell you the tales of old, of a Vex Time God who liked to walk off edges, or of a Hive Prince who could only be slain by his own dark blade. I could tell you tales of Rockets McDickface and all the strife he caused us guardians. I have many tales I could tell you........but I won't.
