Let's see who can answer this question correctly.
only rule is no changing answers! This is an experiment!
----------------------------------
Edit: It's not Vex, although I shoulda put that in there to throw people off even more! It's true that both the Vex and the gun in question were nerfed at the same time, but the other gun was running rampant in Crucible while very few people actually had the Vex.
Edit Dos: Lots of people saying Shingen, trying to get me on s technicality! I am talking about the Live version of Destiny. As in, September 9th version :)
Extra credit to anyone who mentioned Uni Remote! While not as rampantly OP as the correct answer, it was nerfed very early on. Just so few people had it when the game first came out. Still something only a vigilant day oner world know about :)

It was pocket infinity but you need to add the mytho in that selection box as well, check the name of the update it's even called the one about the vex mythoclast.
-
Pocket Infinity.
-
It was pocket infinity. I remember when it got nerfed. First ever needed gun

You ask this like this game was 10 years old. Destiny hasn't been out yet even one year... Oh, right. The time kids can focus these days is about 10 seconds, so in your way to see things launch must have happened before Egypt was dominant super power in the world.

Edited by docalvaran: 7/2/2015 11:08:27 PMPretty sure suros and auto rifles w/ high impact was the first op weapons thats why they nurfed auto rifles, but it wasn't enough at first thats why when TDB came all auto rifles have really low impact. Next was vex m. After those nurfs hand canons became top of op weapons. Because almost everyone have suros by the third week because sold it if i remember correctly.
-
Pocket infinity when it had 8 shots in a mag and really stable. Also before the fusion rifle nerf on accuracy.
-
The vex mythoclast was the most op
-
Pocket Infinity. Thing was ridiculous, and I'm sure it got hit before SUROS did.
-
Bahahaha The Fucking Cydonia-AR3
-
It was definitely the PI. Used to be able to shoot like 12 shots in a row with it.
-
I miss my old Suros :,( one can only dream of a day I can dust off my Auto Rifles again
-
Bruuuuuh I was the blinking pioneer. Except for I used pocket infinity and that had five times the range of a Felwinter and it had 8 rounds lmao
-
I used to dominate with Pocket Infinity.
-
Atheon's epilogue
-
Pretty sure it was pocket infinity. First mag size nerf, then a whole lot of other nerfs and now it's worse than the khostov
-
No remembers the full auto comedian?
-
Grim citizen III anyone?
-
Pocket infinity
-
Damn I voted SUROS and quickly remembered the Pocket Infinity. 8 shots and the perk activated more often, I saw a video of that thing shooting for like 30 seconds before a reload once.
-
Pocket Infinity.
LOL at these Suros answers.
-
Suros. I still have mine. People here are dumb.
-
The Vex Mythoclast was so overpowered. 3 shot kill to the head. It registered 56 dmg per crit.

Edited by Canuckian01: 7/2/2015 3:52:47 PMThe Vex nerf came at the exact same time as the Pocket Infinity nerf (Oct. 14th). Both were OP, but Vex much more so in my opinion. The accidental Thorn nerf happened in November. Some people claim it originally did 12 damage per tick. I'd like to see proof of this. All early Thorn gameplay from September shows 7 damage per tick (which was unchanged until November). Patience and Time & Red Death were never overpowered as far as I know. SUROS, while good, was not really amazing imo. I consistently beat SUROS users with my Lord High Fixer.
-
It was the Pocket Infinity AKA the Pocket Monster that was the first ever nerfed weapon. The Vex came shortly afterwards with Suros shortly after that

It was still the last word
