This is a step by step guide on how to get husk the pit --> necrocasm. While you complete these steps, I recommend completing all of eris' s bounties everyday. You will need crota's bane rank 3 First I will clear up rumors. The husk does still drop, but it is a low chance. Now for the process. Step 1: Husk of the Pit. HotP drops from the blade of crota in the fist of crota mission on earth. To get to him ride you sparrow towards omnibus where the 2 knights spawn. Follow the path past the knights, and you will see 3 acolytes. Kill them, and approach the glowing orb. A knight named "Blade of crota" will spawn. Kill him, and he will drop the husk eventually. Return to orbit and repeat until you get one or go insane, whichever comes first. Step 2: Now you need to kill 500 hive enemies with husk of the pit. Keep on mind that majors or ultras (yellow health bar) count as 25. After you have done this you must buy an embalming orb from eris, and thus is why you need rank 3 crota's bane. Upgrade it to be eildon alley (correct my spelling please), and follow the nest step. Step 3: With eildon alley, just use it like a normal gun until it is fully upgraded. The last upgrade requires a crux of crota, and that turns it into necrocasm. Step 4: To get a crux of crota you must have completed crota's end hard at least once. You have a chance to get it on your 2nd 3rd 4th etc try. Do crota hard every week on every character you can. Try to get some friends who will do this with you so you have someone to do this with. Step 5: Enjoy your necrocasm, and use it. Its not the best gun, but for a collector, its pretty hard to get nowadays. Its an accomplishment you can show off, along with being an elemental primary (arc). If any of my information is incorrect, please tell me.
