Who wins in a fight?

Three teams of three walk into the crucible.... A gunsliger, a sunsinger, and a sunbreaker AND A bladedancer, a stormcaller, and a striker AND A nighthunter, a voidwalker, and a defender So who wins? Team void, team solar or team arc? Edit: Didn't think this would have blown up! Awesome. And to all the people saying the guns/skill level/maps matter or that we can't know.....all of you missed the point of this post entirely. Its just for fun. To have a cool discussion and to imagine the possibilities. Don't think to hard about it because, while correct, it doesn't add anything. Also, i made a poll with this question already and it got lost on the main forum. Edit 2: Damn! Keep it up people. Lot of responses. So far, id say it looks pretty even between solar and void team. But where's the love for team arc?! Also, I think the new crucible type (mayhem I think?) will be nuts what with all the new classes. Only time will tell....but until then, 420 PRAISE IT!

  • Bladedancer and stormcaller will die too quickly. Striker's not that great. Nightstalker and defender aren't dps subclasses, and voidwalker won't be able to finish enemies by itself. Gunslinger can eliminate a whole team with his super. Radiance can revive a warlock and kill both opposing teams with his super. And the solar titan turns into Thor. No doubt about it, the solar team wins.

  • Heres how i see it Solar Team Sunsinger - Would be support with song of flame or go agressive with radiant skin but risk being killed by a FoH or get shutdown by a void arrow. Sunbreaker - Very aggressive super that could potentially kill every other super. This would most likely be the team MVP for the solar team. GG - This would be a last stand super in a panicked situation but would definitely come in handy at moments So yeah solar team is basically 100% offense. Arc Team Striker - FoH is the ultimate counter super to everything. FoH would be used if an enemy sunsinger, GG, Sunbreaker, and even voidwalker tried to challenge the striker. Bladedancer - Wouldnt be too effective because arc blade can be shutdown very easily but could still be clutch in some situations. Stormcaller - Not too strong but has good range and abilities. Stormtrance would definitely help arc team get some kill. I think the only thing arc team is lacking is range. Void Team Defender - The bubble can be shutdown easily but is extremely useful in a skilled titans hands. The bubble would help keep the team alive in some cases. Nighstalker - Another counter super that could potentially save the whole team from an attacking solar or arc team super. Voidwalker - The void teams main offensive weapon would be the nova bomb which is a decent counter/aoe super. Nova bomb would most likely be used to shutdown a hammer, arc blade, or sunsinger. Void team is basically all defense. All in all i think solar team would win due to their extremely strong offensive supers and class abilities.

Solar. Sunbreaker takes out Void team from a distance. Sunsinger helps Sunbreaker and Gunslinger get kills, and self-rezzes if he dies. Golden Gun destroys Arc team.

  • I'd say void team, hunter chain other team together, Titan pops bubble for shield, and warlock blasts them away

  • Arc Team is fully for offensive maneuvers: - The Striker annihilates everything below him, and has a few AoE skills. - The Bladedancer literally goes from one target to the next, and is good at getting behind enemy lines. - The Stormcaller just electrocutes everyone who dares cross his/her path. Solar Team is half 'n half: - Sunbreakers fling and smack opponents, and provides minimal Stat Bonuses (supposedly). - Gunslingers shoot solar flares from an oversized handgun, which is bitchin'. - Sunsingers burn everything they can, and can choose whether to give allies faster grenade/melee recovery, or come back from the grave. Void Team is almost %100 Defense: - Defenders create a near-impenetrable spherical ward which simultaneously gives any ally inside it bonuses. - Nighthunters have bows which anchor opponents, making them easy targets for allies. - Voidwalkers send enemies to oblivion, and have huge AoE potential. In the end, Arc would be hitting the enemy from all sides, Solar would be picking fights as they run around the map, and Void would be mainly stationary, moving only occasionally. They all kick ass in their own ways; that's how I look at it.

    • I'd say the solar team personally, their supers seem to be the most powerful. They have 2 slayer supers and a self res (or just normal radiance which is also very powerful if you know what you're doing). I'm going to give an example of a mayhem game (because this post is about the classes not guns I'm assuming mayhem is a good place to test this) Lets say the solar team faces the void team. I'm not doing all possibilities here just some main ideas or counters to supers. 1. Defender titian pops their bubble, countered by golden gun shots easily 2. Nova bomb incoming, team can eveade and if they were all clumpes up for some reason the warlock can self res and high 5 the nova bomber and kill him (yes the nets more points to the other team but if it was elimination or something the solar team could pull a comeback here easily) 3. Void bow, unless someone on solar team was actively in their super or got hit directly their team should be able to help them out (unless the super hit the whole team but any super is good if you hit the whole team) Now to the attack (this is where the void hunter is tricky because of their ability to supress and nova bombs ability to shut down other supers from a distance and panic super, also the bubble isn't really worth mentioning because it doesnt stop two of them at all and only slows the radiance attack) 1. Gold gun can easily wipe a team, unless they get suppressed. But I'm assuming the bow has travel time so the gold gun would be able to kill the archer too and possibly a few of the void team members too. 2. Radiance can be used agressively from a safe distance or around corners with fireboly grenades, or self res to suprise the enemy team and attack from where they're not expecting (even though shotguns+melee combo is very easy to shut down a self res, as long as no one is camping their orb they'll probably be ok) 3. The titan, become thor....... no need for further explanation. Ultimately i think the solar team would win (assuming even skill level and even weapons) because they could score more points in a slayer game mode and have the ability to wipe teams in elimination and clutch turn around a round with self res. Now to fight the arc team (I'm not going to repeat the attack part because it's mostly the same except substatute fist of havok for nova bomb) 1. Blade dance and thunderstorm (sorry i forgot what its called but you get the idea) can be easily shut down from a range with golden gun, and unless youre in a tight hallway or something, solar team should win. 2. Fist of havok can be dodged easily (even in current crucible) just dont clump up with your team mates and if yoy see a titan recklessly charging you, shoot him quick or jump away. Fist of panic generally only nets one kill or two so unless you're oblivious to a charging titan, you'll be ok.

        • Last place for sure is void, they just aren't strong enough in their supers, none can get multiple kills easy. Solar would probably be the best, I love playing sun singer, golden gun is amazing, and sunbreaker looks very good too
