I don't think oryx should die he's a god he's as close to the main destiny enemy as it gets. I think you should almost kill him and he basically runs away to get stronger so he can return to destiny 2.
Leave me your thoughts and vote a reasoning with your vote would be great and if you could drop a like that would be awesome.

Edited by Shag6: 6/17/2015 3:47:43 PMKill him and bring in a new alien race and enemy in the next game.
-
Damnit why are you encouraging them to drag out an unfinished story :L
-
I wanna watch my hairy salty bawls dip into his blood filled mouth hole
-
Lol Destiny 2. I won't be buying that shit if it's anything like Destiny. Game is the perfect troll.
-
I like to think the hive as one entire sentient being. Moving from planet to planet. Devouring everything in its path. If they came from outside the destiny universe as we know it. I would like to think that it's more than a handful of humanoid gods. That the hive stem from something more. Maybe a whole world. Similar to unicron of transformer fame. Imagine the raid... Hundreds of guardians taking on an entire planet. Ship combat and battle formations.... Lol I can wish for destiny 2. I say kill him. The hive are the endless horde.
-
Send him home crying!
-
Weaken him I think is the best idea.
-
There's a whole pantheon of hive gods lol, we're good.
-
Why kill him when you can sell that in a new dlc
-
He should make some kind of return in a different form, that would be neat.

Edited by John6Max4: 6/17/2015 11:38:28 AMRemember Halo when we though the flood was just some type of space zombie? Then in the second game we find out some Venus fly trap is pulling their strings? And then in the third game we become allies (?) and then take the plant out once and for all. What happened to normal storytelling Bungie! Hell I expected Crota to be MUCH harder than how he was. I imagined we had to prevent him from being awoken or else the galaxy would've been boned but nope just a few whacks of a sword will do him in at FULL strength mind you. RIP Crota you deserved a better raid
-
Course not cuz in forged of gods the last expansion before destiny 2 it wouldn't be much fun without a real God
-
REALM OF THE MAD GOD IS DESTINY 2 POSSIBLY IN THE FUTURE
-
It's strange how many "deities" we are killing in the very first Destiny game. There are supposedly two more games coming and they're still killing off every major threat we hear whispers of.
-
Throw him in prison too
-
"Finish him"
-
If oryx dies, the hive die with him, they're all connected to him. So if u kill oryx, u wipe out the hive
-
But what if oryx is not kill? Seriously though, if we kill him. We have literally wiped out the hive's God, so we just knocked them out, for a while at least. Maybe that's their plan, to knock out the hive after the dark below, and the taken king and focus more on the other races.
-
No, knowing how much Bungie loves money, they'll have us kill him in Destiny: Oryx's End
-
The topic slowed down but that's alright much better results than I could've hoped for thanks everyone

Edited by TehPwnShow: 6/17/2015 1:42:43 AMHe's a Hive god but he's only A hive god, one of many. There are still others.
-
He should never die. I rather him invade earth and enslave the pesky guardians. So we may join his taken army and take down the traveler >:) P.S, where was Oryx up until this point? Why were only some of the Hive in our solar system and attempting to get the traveler? If the "light" was such a big threat, Oryx should have come right away. This makes me think the whole "Traveler/Light" situation is a minor battle in a large galaxy...
-
Crota didn't get resurrected lmao
-
He is most likely going to resurrect somehow because he is a god
-
Kill him. We need REAL new races.
-
too bad I won't fight him either way. moving on after I saw a price tag that bad and betrayal to loyal customers
