But finding randoms of the forums and destinylfg is better than matchmaking. Matchmaking puts you in with randoms so for all you know he could be 28 with crap weapons. But finding randoms you can invite them to your fireteam see what they have and what level they, then decide if you want them or not

I was never matchmade with any level that was +1 or -1 from my level. You really have no idea how it works so stop having an opinion.
