Titans take the most skill to use?
There's been a lot of talk lately about Titans being the worst PvP class and the worst to use in PvP. If that's true then does that make the Titan the class that requires the most skill to be good with?
Edit: so what I gather so far is that Titan class's effectiveness is based on what's convenient for others.
Edit: also from what I see Titans suck until they kill you. Seems legit lol
Edit: also apparently fist of havoc is the only super that can kill people quickly and be used in a panic state.

Edit: it seems like people just hate being killed by fist of havoc. I do agree it is a brutal super, and it's just as satisfying as it is brutal :-) it does it's job perfectly haha
Edit: serious edit. something people should realize is due to fist of havoc being a closer ranged super, it's more situational than the the others. Because of that, most people just want to use their super because they have it. It's a lot more difficult to team wipe with fist.you can't throw it or walk around the map with it.

In my experience when I play my main, a warlock I struggle to do well in pvp. When I play as either my hunter or my Titan I find kills come much quicker and easier in pvp.

Gunslingers: when you pop your super, do you take a nice relaxing sip of tea while you golden gun the shyt out of rival guardians with unlimited range? Warlocks: hey yeah, that long-range nuke must really stress you out with all the skill it takes to throw that thing. The truth is that All of the games supers allow guardians to plan their supers much more effectively than FoH. Titans have to use their super up close, and often times in a much more reactionary way because of the close range necessity. Blade dancer, the other close-range super, lasts much longer and permits the blind-button mashers enough time to cover considerable ground. Death from above is not accurate enough to honestly say that FoH can be used consistently as arranged attack.

Titans don't have blink, no ranged melee, shoulder charge cannot be used unless planned in advance, grenades are difficult to use (half the time when you put a lightning grenade on a wall it puts straight at the ground), no overshield for melee (unless you kill someone, wtf is that good for, the guy is already dead), and here is the big one that everyone forgets about: Titans are always stuck with a ton of armor, which has absolutely zero effect in PVP. So, while other classes can max out agility or regen, Titans are stuck with significantly lower stats. The only thing that will balance Titans with the other classes is if they actually account for armor in PvP, which I don't understand why they haven't already.

Panic smash Blind bubble w/ armor of light Shoulder charge Panic smash --no skill. Just a lot of timing and the right amount of panic.

2 RepliesI wouldn't say that there is a single class in the game that requires the most skill to be good with. Titans are tanks. They can take more damage and recover quicker. They also have a decent ranged melee attack with shoulder barge and tide changing fist of havoc. Warlocks are awesome. Melee is good, nova bomb is as good as fist of havoc when used correctly and radiance gives Warlocks defence and offence on par with a Titan. Hunters, IMO, are just a persons way of saying "I need as much help as Bungie can throw at me in this game. I want to turn invisible, I want a gun I can carry around a map that can one shot 4 enemies when I use it or I want to turn into an untouchable shiny b!tch that can wipe out most people that get in my way"

The game is designed for some rock-paper-scissor action. There's been Titan hate even before the Alpha. As a Titan I must say I envy Warlock Rez and Arc Spaz. But when you get to a capture point and you time it right the Hulk smash is worth it. There's an ability to make your Titan not take damage while performing it, but at a cost. The best perk is if you are killed before your "panic" goes off, you get to keep it for next spawn. But Titans have the most predictable jump. I feel the classes are equal. We're all Guadians for f@ck's sake.

1 ReplyTitans fist of panic can negate fatal damage, for example: I shotgun a Titan from point blank (In which case the guardian takes fatal damage) when SUDDENLY the panic fist activates and he survives using his fist of havoc right after being shot.

You are taking two things and making them one. Titans don't take any skill to use. Unless you count where to pop a bubble. They are the best to use in PVP tho

Whatever class fits your play style. I'd say hunter for PvE because they don't have bubbles, and self res. never mind they don't even have a good grenade, super, and half their abilities are pretty bad. For PvP all classes have some advantage over the other

I have all 3 classes but main a Titan. When my GF asked which class to choose I told her Titan as it's the easiest to learn.

PVP look, I other classes don't age to wait for the perfect moment to get the most out of their super (yes nova bomb, but it has a way bigger AOE) and while it's super easy to get 1 or 2 kills with, getting 5 or 6 isn't easy. Defender also DOSNET KILL PEOPLE, we get about 15 points eveytime u guys get a kill PVE yes, Titans can kill all re one tier enemies, but if u miss, or misjudge your dead (without unstable) and defender it not easy, if we're not in Croat or vog, we haven't gotten to try and fail to know where the best stop is on the go. and my teammates never seem to say "Pop it here" unless I was already over there myself. Guys the defender class if FOR YOU. Tell us where u want it, it helps

I can't play anything but titan because I'm so used to being a tank like my brother had to talk on the phone during a strike so he passes his controller to me he's a lvl 32 hunter for me it was a huge change because I had to remind myself I couldn't get pelted with bullets and be fine
