Honestly, this gun is super fun to use, and quite powerful and I immediately love it.. BUT... I can't find a valid reason to use it over an actual sniper when one is needed. Pros: VERY large crit box. Great damage Tons of ammo (70 shot reserve) Excellent sniper option for no scoping people Cons: Sniper vs sniper you lose 9/10 due to charge time Still has lens flare (even on combat scope) Great in midrange but is outclassed by many of the most popular primary weapons. Not great close up as it nearly always is a two shot without scope and a shotgun would simply work better. That being said, it's an awesome gun and super cool. I found myself really enjoying it some levels (shores of time, rusted lands, twilight gap) and hating it on others (pantheon, firebase, the building map with old cars in the long middle) I'd use it on normal crucible where the competition isn't so great. Gonna try it out on the nightfall.
