Why is Bungie Obsessed with PvP?

Iron Banner 50,000 times, Inferno, the Trials of Osiris. Why is Bungie OBSESSED with PvP? No one plays it... so why? EDIT: Yes, I've played Halo. Just look at my profile. Destiny's Crucible is nothing compared to any Halo's multiplayer.

  • They aren't. It's their compensation for the lack of PvP gameplay in the base game. I was hyped for the PvP and now I'm practically a PvE only player due to not having enough return after putting hours into it. It also helped that the PvE elements kept me way more engaged. Then they started to come out with all these PvP attractions, and I started to spend less time grinding strikes and raids. Day one Crucible was the most bleh game mode I've ever played competitively. Now it's not, kudos on that Bungie.
