Petition for Checkpoints in the PoE
I'm tired of making it to Skolas, only to have something that needs my attention pop up. There is really no logical reason not to have checkpoints seeing as most of the time invested is spent on the boss fight in the PoE. I don't want to exploit the game, i just don't want all my progress to be for nothing when I, or one of my friends, have to go do something. Hell, maybe it's just nice to take a break after getting frustrated with the boss, and I'd like to get back to it later without wasting 45 minutes on the previous rounds.[spoiler]Incoming poeple who brag about completing the previous rounds in under three minutes.[/spoiler]

Signed. Give us the checkpoint system. After LFGing for 2 randoms to help after my team abandoned me, who, by the way, made me wait 15 minutes cause they wouldn't shut the -blam!- up about dumb teenager crap, your shitty server game decided to error code me out. I was still in a party with them, and asked for an invite and got -blam!-ed for MY CHECKPOINT. Fix this.

Yes. Reality plays out totally different than a planning PowerPoint presentation. 5 hours of straight gameplay is unhealthy.

I think a checkpoint is reasonable, but only at the boss fight, and only on 35 Poe. The others are easily completed in about 30-45 minutes. Even without ghorns.

Seriously. Doesn't even have to be permanent checkpoints. A simple 24 to 48 hour window with checkpoints is reasonable.

3 RepliesI want checkpoints, just to go to the tower or such when you run low on heavies or such. But then people will whine for checkpoints to skip stuff.

I would agree if the only checkpoint is before the final boss and only those that have gone through the first 4 rounds could get into that checkpoint. This would solve the issue of people getting their friends in and skipping the first 4 rounds every time.

I'm all for it as long as the check point isn't set up the way checkpoint are currently used in destiny. It will make the rest of the fight pretty irrelevant like most of the crota or vog raid. I have 60ish VoG completions and most of them are just atheon
