Clanning is primitive and backwards
It's tribalism they're selling here. I like the thought of connecting to something more wholesome than a WreckNashon club where we worship some mlg douche. I thought we all had something in common but this like a middle school lunchroom. Clans are a thing of the past. This isn't yugioh or D&D and we can play the game more efficiently and protect our privacy better with matchmaking. We don't have clans anymore since the ku klux klan, and it's time to get with it and stop caring about narcissistic cliques.
Clan leaders fear matchmaking because it's a better alternative and easier to play. Clans will likely lose many followers and participants if matchmaking comes because it's more convenient. Clan leaders fear the day that when they go to send invites, we'll ignore them because we are already getting to enjoy the activities without needing them anymore.
No matchmaking has been a boon to twitch streamers as well. Lots of subs just tune in to get hope to be picked to run a raid or ToO

Bungie in no way is making reference to the ku klux klan. Why are you even on the forums other than to make inflammatory statements like this? If I could I'd ban you from the forums. You don't even play Destiny, yet in other posts you complain about the game. Find another forum to lurk you douche.
