I just moved to Canada on a workers visa, and I've been having particularly bad connection problems. A lot of "baboon" messages, and an almost constant influx of "Contacting Destiny Servers". It was manageable the last few days, because I haven't had a lot of time to play, but I logged on to buy Thunderlord from Xur, and as I was purchasing it, it said that I was contacting Destiny servers. I left his store and checked my inventory, and it wasn't there. The "Contacting" bar had disappeared, so I went into xur's inventory again, and I still had 40 strange coins, and no Thunderlord. So I bought it again. After a short delay, I received two, and now I'm out of money. I have plenty of strange coins now here in Toronto, but alas, I am out on Destiny.
Not sure if you can redeem them or something on my account, if not, no worries.
I'm here primarily to ask how I can improve my network connection, and to report the issue.
I have an awesome 250mbps connection here in Toronto, but I can't connect to any games. I don't believe it's an NAT problem either, so I'm kinda drawing a blank. Does it have to do with being in Canada?
Anybody else have this issue before?
Thanks for your time too guys.
