Destiny right now is actually the least social game I've ever come out.
There's no in-game chat, no in-game notice boards, no in-game LFG methods at all, no in-game communication except for the silly wave, dance, point.
Bungie's / Deej philosophy force you to LEAVE THE GAME...there's no optional matchmaking or lfg system directly into the game to communicate, and sooner or later, everyone is likely to just leave the game.

3 RepliesI have to agree. Destiny has a social component, but it does nothing to encourage being social. It forces social upon people if they want the best endgame fun, which is garbage. We might as well call it Social DRM. This game is so scatter-brained in design it is remarkable that much of the obvious, annoying aspects haven't been addressed. Bungie seems really out of touch with the design of the game. How about auto-breakdown green items? Why are faction armor sets linked to Crucible marks, where Crucible is story-less and has nothing to do with them? How about abandon the useless weapon parts / armor parts currencies, which have absolutely no relevance beyond level 20? Bungie.. please listen to external observers like these who have genuinely valid points about a game that really could improve significantly.
