Lvl 35 round 6 Skolas Arc damage best gun?
Soo Last night we were using one thunderlord, one P&T and one 365 P&T non upgraded. We did more damage with 3 thunderlords to Skolas but not fast enough. Is the best gun for him 3 P&Ts fully upgraded or is there another way to get him down? If so what guns worked for your team please explain.

My team did it with 3 Patience And Times and various arc machine guns. The trick we found is just make sure you are getting nothing but head shots on every shot. By the time we ran out of sniper ammo, he had barely any health left and we were able to cut him down with our machine guns. I saw a video of a team of LDRs with arc, all running Final Round and Field Scout. They didn't even have to switch to heavies. Pretty much, arc snipers are the Gjallarhorn of this week. -

Edited by IF YOU’RE SUS I REPORT: 5/28/2015 4:07:32 PMLDR and the spear do anywhere from 1000-2000 more crit a shot then the P&T and if you have a jolders hammer it does 200 more a crit then thunderlord and is way more stable. You would want field scout on both along with final round on the sniper just to get the extra 4500 on the last shot.

Don't forget you can have field scout on thunderlord and get your 60 rounds in the mag, then switch to perfect balance and still have 60 in the mag. Just remember on reloads it will be the 40 rounds again

1 ReplyMy group used all snipers, including P&T, efrideets spear, and Ldr, all maxed at 365. We were able to push him back really far too where we took his health down to about a quarter. We got lucky with the first zone popping up right next to use. Used another bubble and finished him. Took 3 and half hrs

We used gjallarhorns and black hammers and didn't notice the burn had changed **facepalm** did on our 7th attempt and wondered why it was harder...

Thunderlord worked best for us. Run left, gang that servitor, pop bubble weapons of light. Ham at him, til bonds are broken. Then run around like a chicken til he's down. Profit.

Ephridets spear with field scout Imho... Leaves my exotic slot open for TLord for crowd control

I have a LDR with rodeo, ambush scope and perfect balance. I found that to be incredibly effective. Thunder Lord also has its moments.

We do it with 2 T&P and one LDR, the goal is that P&T have a major rof, so when my two friends finish the ammo they can use a sinth and I continue to stagger skolas, then they shoot and I use the sinth. Obviusly We go with weapons of light.

365 arc Efrideet's Spear with illuminated Weapons of Light does ~9600 with every headshot, ~8500 without illuminated, and ~7100 without Weapons of Light. My arc PvE Spear has surplus, field scout, and clown cartridge.

Best to use legendary arc sniper rather than p and t so you can use exotic for thunder lord. Upgraded my old epitaph to 365 for this. Has same damage/ RoF as p and t also holds 6 rounds but has speed reload and extra damage on last round,

I really enjoyed the patience & time. 24 rounds and sick stability with alright impact . Definitely my most used gun since how dropped. Used it in last nightfall aswell instead of a thunderlord and certainly didnt regret it

3 P&Ts will work fine on him, though my buddies and I used LDRs with good rolls to kick his butt. Mandatory what makes it a whole lot easier is a bubble Titan with Saint 14 helm to blind incoming shanks and WoL for more bullet damage.

4 RepliesI would imagine the shadow of veils arc sniper, the PoE version, would be just as good as patience & time, an frees your exotic slot. That's assuming you've been lucky enough to get it from judgements chance.
