Hey, Is this problem something that only happens when you play Destiny or does it happen when you play other games also? Try updating your controller, your Xbox should have come with a usb adapter for it that can connect the controller to the Xbox. If you have this issue with more than one game, and updating your controller doesn't fix it I would contact Microsoft Xbox support.
