Not gonna lie, I did not expect to be able to clear this my first time as a 33, let alone as a 2-man team. Urrox, in my opinion, was much more challenging than Crota, simply due to having to deal with the flaming floor and the swarms of mobs at the same time. But, after about an hour of trial and error, we finally got the hang of Urrox and his mechanics, and slotted him good. Here is a guide to the lvl 34 Prison of Elders You will be facing Hive, Cabal, Cabal, and Hive. The critical objectives consist of mines in round 2, high-value target in Round 3, and mines again in round 4. Modifiers consist of slow ability regeneration in round 1, Primary weapon damage increase in round 2, increased shields with no shield regeneration in round 3, Arc Burn in round 4, and Solar Burn in round 5. Warlocks, i highly recommend running Sunsinger with Heart of the Praxic Fire if you have it (Apotheosis Veil is another good option). You can run fireborn, but i personally ran either one of the other two. Radiant Skin is God Mode on Round 3, as the massive damage reduction means that your shields will practically never drop. Song of Flame is a great asset in round 1 and round 5, especially paired with HoPF. Your main job is to support your team and deterr enemies with grenades. Solar Grenades are a famous Thrall deterrent, so burn baby, burn. Hunters, i highly recommend Bladedancer for the first 4 rounds, with as much emphasis on invisibility as possible. Stalker, Shadowjack, Escape Artist, Vanish, even Don't Touch Me of you have it. Your main job is the Critical Objectives. You are an assassin, a ninja. Strike fast, Strike hard, and bail out before the enemy has a chance to see you. Disable the mines while your teammates distract the mobs. For Round 5, switch to Gunslinger and be sure to equip Triple Jump, or Bones of Eao if you have them. You'll need the jump for Urrox. Although we did not have a titan in our group, i would recommend a Defender for all rounds. Ward of Dawn is a lifesaver, and can also be a nice aggro magnet for distracting mobs. Beware of the Psions, though. These Psions really love their Psionic Blast, and can fire it underneath your bubble. Glasshouse and Saint-14 are very effective here. Round 5: Urrox. At the start, my brother and i immediately ran for the room on the left side of the arena. I kept him covered and took care of any mobs on our way, then pulled out my Solar Against All Odds to gun down the Ogres while he pulled out Black Hammer and unloaded on Urrox. My job was crowd control, and keeping the enemies at bay while he gunned Urrox. BE CAUTIOUS WITH YOUR HEALTH. If you get hit even once by Urrox, hunker down and heal. You need every ounce of health for the Rage phases. When Urrox Rages, be sure to wait until the red lettering appears before you jump. Jumping too soon results in an unnecessary burn. Warlocks, sacrifice that second grenade for Angel of Light. You wont need the second grenade. If there are still mobs rushing into the room, pop Radiance and use Solar Grenades to hold them back. Normally, you should have gunned down all nearby threats before the Rage phase. Hunters, time those Triple Jumps right. If you can, toss a grenade off to deterr any nearby mobs. Titans, equip Blessing of Light and pop Ward. Jump up and let yourself fall into the bubble. The Blessing will take the burn for you easily. If you have a weapon with Icarus, start gunning down Thralls. After the Rage, rinse and repeat. One person focus on the mobs, the other should focus on Urrox. Overall, keep communicating. If you're having trouble dealing with the adds, let your buddy know. My brother and i had at least 2 rotations where we simply burned down adds. Take your time, and keep calm. Don't be a hero.
