Lighthouse is for Lore
The purpose of the trials is based in the lore! Something EVERYONE has been complaining is lacking! When Osiris was banished from the town he started recruiting the strongest guardians to bring him to his cause. He didn't say he wanted to bring the whiny 12 year old that feels entitled to have everything handed to them. Case closed!!! You wanted more lore and there it is
Ps. I am someone that may never make it but I am not complaining!

People who haven't made it, yet are not polluting the forums with crying hate posts are amazing haha thank you sir. P.S: You will make it there eventually and join the other champions. Just hang in there and practice :)
