  • I personally like DS2 better than Bloodborne. I suck at Bloodborne. I'd rather have a sword and shield than a sword and gun. Alot of people don't like DS2 because it's easier than DS. The included dlc makes up for it.

  • I haven't played the witcher 3 but DS2: SotFS is definitely worth your money IMO. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours playing

  • But i've heard many bad things about DS2, like the poor design of bosses and the clunkiness of gameplay. Are these true? I'm still planning on buying it, though.

  • I'm not sure what people are comparing these traits to; as I myself think the bosses, although generally lack in creativity, are well designed. Once you have the mechanics down and you've tested different playing styles the initial storyline becomes rather trivial in it's easiness. That being said, I would still put my playing time at ~500 hours between DS2 on the 360 and DS2: SotFS. The storyline has a TON of secrets and lore that is fascinating and will undoubtedly take you multiple run throughs to find everything. The convents add exciting and purposeful end-game content. The PvP scene, while initially hesitant, is extremely fun. Overall one of the best purchases I've made.
