At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates. Why not seek each other out here and band together?

This is a funny post. It's hilarious that a Challenge is to leave the game to find someone.

Not my words Deej's if your playing a social game it should be social

Edited by Prof Sheitbag: 8/26/2015 8:22:28 PMSo wait - part of the "challenge" you guys were going for was for us, your customer, to go to third party sites and sift through posts, and then go back to our consoles to organize the group? FFS, I bought this game to PLAY IT, not wander aimlessly on the internet looking for people to play with - you guys could get off your lazy arses and give us a mechanism IN GAME that allows us to group up, NOT have us sit in front of our PC's. My point: Your "philosophy about endgame content" is garbage. I suggest tossing it out and obtaining a much better, more reasonable and rational philosophy. If you guys want, throw me a bag of cash and I will write one up on a napkin and send it your way. Don't worry, it will be better than the one you have, but to be fair ALMOST ANYTHING is better than the one you have...

REKT!!!!!!

Why not provide us in game matchmaking?
-
That's some lazy sh** right there.

Edited by total_crap: 8/26/2015 4:47:35 PMwow this is amazing and must be hard to ignore by bungie... although i am sure they will try their hardest. people want this. your player base wants to be able to form fireteams within this game. do something about it!
-
At current, here at Bungie we don't know wtf we're doing.
-
-
This isn't a -blam!-ing philosophy. Its a failure.
-
Part of his argument however is that you the developer of the game haven't provided a means for players to seek each other out in game.
-
Because there should be no reason to use something outside of the game to form a group in the game. That just makes it more likely for me to just not want to do it. Also there should never be a challange in finding a group, the challange should be the game. Every multiplayer online game needs some way to form a group built into the game, this goes doubble for any RPG. It also needs some form of in game clan/guild system, simply because the people you like to raid with may not be the ones you want on your friends list.
-
Lol..your replies are ridiculous.
-
Attention bungie your theory is flawed ,really how hard is it to make optional matchmaking? smh.....not that i care you guys aren't getting another dime from me until this game gets a major overhual ,ttk not purchased
-
Your philosophy is wrong, get your heads out of each others asses and incorporate optional matchmaking ffs!!!
-
Why don't you guys just add OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING! !! Nevermind your delusional and unrealistic ideas.

Edited by RRNJ119: 8/25/2015 10:32:37 PMYour philosophy is not working currently, my kids quit the game. They have an allotted time to play and they do not want to waste it trying to get players to play ..... They also do not have another device with an app to look for a team. Has that ever factored into your philosophy? Its also sad that the tower and reef are always empty . The most i have seen is maybe 20, good luck getting 5 out if that 20 to join you.
-
I have probably a months worth of time searching for players to do endgame content with. Deej has TripleWreck and the other favorites. He doesn't need to hunt lfg for teams.
-
So 1700 people comment and no-one liked it. Interesting, care to elaborate your philosophies on that?
-
Edited by Archangelion1: 8/25/2015 1:25:08 AMA simple answer that might aid players to find fireteams for end game activities is putting open mic chat in the tower and reef space. Also having "fireteam chat" available in each different area in patrol would be nice too. It would make the game more social. It might take the strain off you guys about matchmaking!

Edited by TheShadow: 8/25/2015 1:18:49 AMSo what happens to the ones that keep getting rejected? Woops, im sorry. I mean what happens to the thousands that keep getting rejected on your so call lfg?
-
Why can't Bungie implement it?? finding groups can really suck. You don't always get replies.
-
Ya we get that, but why is it we get what your saying but you do not get what we are saying? Is it hard to match make top level? No. Is it hard to actual give players what they want...I am guessing this is the yes. Of course you are not really a player, so I guess I am talking to the wrong person.
