At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates. Why not seek each other out here and band together?

It's easy for you to blab on and on about friend making. You work at a place that makes it more than easy to do this. Your friend-making takes on an extra stench when you rely on off-site applications to do your work for you. I'd love to see the 'royalty' checks you've sent to these sights that have perpetuated your grand design of 'Make Friends, Play Games!' If it wasn't for your indirect theft of the use of these sights to pad your game full of 'friends', I suspect your game would be a tomb. Shouldn't you be on Reddit? You spend more time there than you do here. I almost forgot: Thanks for using an answer you gave back in May of this year. If you're not going to stay 'currently' engaged with the community, why bother being here at all? Please resign from your job. There's better trained and more qualified people that are adept at handling the public affairs of this company better than you. A qualified candidate might be somebody who has a college degree in public communications with at least 5 years in the public sector working for a Fortune 500 company. None of which you have Mr. Halo Warlord.

Here's a fair question DeeJ. So Bungievision as many people are calling the collaboration of Bungie and Activision can't afford to have dedicated servers and thus use PlayStation servers which is again another partnership that many Destiny players fail to see. Is cost the reason behind Bungievision not adding match making to the game? The only reason I ask is because Activision refuse to give is actual revenue figures for the amount of games sold ect ect. Bungievision has earned a fantastic reputation for pissing off its fan/player base over the last 6-8 months and while TTK had a bunch of new content it really has not lived up to what it promised.

because we do not all have time or a set up that makes it easy for us to use a computer and our playstations (or xboxes) and if we do use our computers ar the same time we play it can make us look like we are manipulating our conection and we get banned.

There is a website called "the 100" hire those guys because they did what you at bungie said can't happen. Put their ideal in this game.

At current, my philosophy is that if I buy something for pleasure it should be fun and not feel like work. One day Destiny will realize that their vision of of the game is not getting any better. It just doesn't make sense to be so hellbent on doing things your way anymore. It would be great if you listened to the people that have actually put the hours into playing your game instead of just disregarding us.

The problem is Deej, whilst this is a good idea, a lot of the people on lfg sites are toxic. Quitting, raging, not pulling their weight, not having any idea what to do any expecting to be carried. It's just getting to the point where it's so stressful to play the game, I'm not having fun with it. Waiting in orbit for an hour to form a team, taking multiple attempts as the embryonic team forms and someone tries to wrestle coordination...this is not a good experience.

You sure do know how to piss off a community of people don't you Deej? This has been something we've been asking for since day one. People have even come up with ideas to actually implement an LFG component into the game but all you come back with is excuses and bullshit like weapon parts nerfs. I swear to god this game has been nothing but a struggle and fight against everyone at bungie since day -blam!-ing one. Activision ruined you guys and your sense of morality.

Never ran PoE over level 28 due to no matchmaking. Still haven't run the new Raid for the same reason. You don't see that as a problem then I don't know...pull your head out of your ass maybe?

This is a war of the layman vs the nerd. Layman works hard all day and does man stuff. When the layman gets home he wants to sit down with a beer and get a back rub from his hot wife while he plays destiny. a layman can't be bothered by having to find people to play with, he needs matchmaking to unwind from the hard day. Then there's the nerd..... Like deej..... You know the "man" that sits behind a key board all day and pushes buttons then goes home to his parents basement and has a million other nerd friends just like him to play with. You poor little guy I bet your pampered girl hands are really sore after a hard day of pushing buttons. Give us real men matchmaking we can't be bothered with your fantasy bull crap.

I don't want to waste my few hours of time off searching for people. It should be automatic or easy to search in game lobby. Cough borderlands matchmaking cough.

Well the challenge of forming a team is tougher than actually playing. Games more than a decade old have LFG systems in game that span multiple platforms. Those systems although considered very frustrating and poor are still miles in front of the 3rd party LFG sites and forums you think we should use. I wonder did you ask 3rd parties to set up LFG sites? Did you hope that they would be made? Worst of all did you plan on it being good enough without LFG and it's just fortunate that you can refer us to those sites. What would be your stance on LFG if there were no sites available? I find it shocking that you allow the game to be operated from a 3rd party and do t take control of that process. The result is a sub par process in your game and customer unhappy with something you should be doing. I would challenge you to sit down with reasonable guardians and debate the validity of your stance with media and your stake holders and board members in attendance. I do believe that you and your development team would be handed your lunch and directed to get LFG in game now.
