Destiny Version Numbering[Resolved]

Hello, I was Just curious about how Bungie decides how to Number the game versions. I have an Idea but I want to know if it's correct. So the current game version is 1.2.0 the next update will make it 1.2.0.1. So this is how I think the version Numbering system works. The First number(1 in this case) represents the current game. Since this is the First Destiny game that number will be a 1 The Second Number(2 in the current Version) Represents the current expansion that is out. 1.1 prepared us for the Dark Below, 1.2 was for House of Wolves 1.3 will be for the next expansion. The Third Number(0 currently) represents a major update like the weapon balancing and raid fix one. The Fourth and final number represents a hot fix. I just wanted to check and see if this was correct or if anyone else had any idea on how the version numbering system worked. And one final note to Mentors and Ninjas, If this is in the wrong place simply ask me to move it that way I can edit this post in the future. Edit1: Alright I got My answer No need for further replies.

    • Your english makes sense in my mind. but it is not that simple of a code. It is 1.2.0. In my theory it is more like 2.0.1 2 as this is not the first destiny as you may think but the second as research has stated. 0 as the two expansions are not expansions at all but where already in the game from the start. (I can explain this more but its not worth my or your time) 1, meaning many things, my theory is 1 as you updated it 1 time because everyone has to update to play on destiny server. Again this is just a theory as far as i have read

        • The way you worded it makes sense in my mind, but I don't think Bungie has ever confirmed this is how it is. You're probably right though.
