I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP.
Take a look at our (comprehensive!) Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.
Good luck and good hunting, Guardian!

I have the exact same issue. Everything on my Xbox One works fine with an internet connection except Destiny. Today is Saturday June 6, 2015. I have not been able to start Destiny since Wednesday. I normally play using a Cat Ethernet connection but also tried wireless. I pay for business class internet for higher bandwidth. I have reset my router and modem. I have unplugged my console from the power brick. I have followed your network configuration guide. I have cleared the alternate MAC address. When I try to use Destiny, title screen appears, music plays, when it prompts to Press A, I do, and then it says there is no internet connection and to search for canary in Bungie. What I need is a solution other than someone copying & pasting the same rhetoric about reading your network guide.
