I died 10 years ago. No shit. Bled to death from arterial trauma. I was awake through the whole thing right up until the end, pondering my own death. I was flatlined for a minute and a half before I came back. The best way I can describe what happened while I was gone, was that it was as if I was being embraced by the entire universe in the same way a mother holds her infant and everything (and I do mean [u]everything[/u]) was going to be okay. Truth be told, it is such a wonderful feeling that I feel pity for those who only get to experience it once.
