Efrideet's Spear: Discussion
What do you guys and girls think are the best perks?
Mine has
Ambush scope
Take a knee
High caliber/send it/ skip rounds
Final round.
Do I try for better? What would be preferred in the first spot for you guys?
Thinking bonus accuracy could be a beast.

I ended up sticking with one that had: Ambush scope Spray and play Perfect balance Final round The reload speed boost is amazing since I'm always going to empty my mag anyways to utilize final round. Perfect balance makes it easier for people like me who suck with sniper rifles to get either a headshot or 2 body shots and make a kill in the first 2 rounds and then a kill with the 3rd round regardless of where shot.

Ambush and final round is what I would try for. Before patch I would say send it in middle spot. But with the latest update and so few special crates I would try for maximum ammo capacity. You can always switch to that before pickicking up ammo and then switch to another perk. Having 3 shots is nice with final round. Without final round there are other snipers that is better suited for head shots.

Mine is solar with: Tacsys scope Surplus High caliber/send it/perfect balance Final round Surplus is kind of pointless for a Pvp sniper, I would've preferred unflinching but I didn't wanna risk it cause I was overall happy with the perks.

Pvp spear has Rodeo/ HCR- APR- Perfect Balance/ Final Round Pve spear has Spray and Play/ Field Scout/ Final Round

PVP......I got Void, Ambush Scope, Rodeo, Perfect Balance, Final Round. PVE......I got Void, Ambush Scope, Rodeo, Field Scout, Clown Cartridge. Cost me 10 motes combined.

So the Efrideet's best possible roll is this: Elemental Damage of Choice Ambush Scope Double Down Armor Piercing Final Round I can confirm that the combo of Armor Piercing/Final Round is a MONSTER. You definitely enter the Crucible with confidence. It will convert you into a full-time sniper (if the ammo allows). I have killed two people with one bullet more than once in this Iron Banner.

I'm 50/50 on the Final Round perk. On one side, I think its awesome that you can truly take advantage of that perk, and it's only effect is on crucible. But on the other side, it does take all skill out of sniping and is easily abused. Other than that, it's definitely a great rifle and everyone should have tried for it. :D

I managed to grab two identical ones: TacSys + Performance Bonus + AP/Stability + Final Round. For PvP I would use it with AP but with the stability upgrade it should perform well to deliver killing rounds to bosses in PvE. Does anyone know if the Performance Bonus perk works 100% of the times, or is it something that will happen X out Y? Or Surplus? Spray And Play should be a nice perk as well since with 3 shots we are always reloading.

After seeing alot of people do well with it, I picked up a Spear and re rolled it a handful of times and came out with -Solar- Ambush scope -Rodeo -ap rounds -final round I'm excited to get it leveled thru the perks so I can try it out lol.

I have: Performance Bonus, Armour Piercing Rounds and Final Round I think it's quite effective, I got a triple collateral on the shores of time B flag. (It was iron banner, opponents could of had low armour or a lower light level).
