She says its tempoary and we'll get back together soon but she just needs a break we've been dating for 6 months

If you have only been dating six months and she wants a break then don't bother getting back together with her. At 6 months you're still in the 'honeymoon phase' and if she's already over it then there is no future for that relationship. That is the most lovey dovey exciting part of the relationship as you are getting to really know each other.

In all seriousness, think it through. If it's worth keeping, take a break. But look at it from the outside. I mean [i]really[/i] look at the relationship. Is it worth it? If so, take a break. Work out whatever the issues are and build on them. If it isn't, end things as well as you can and try to move on.
