Legs closed either side by side, one over the other, usually some variation of that.
I remember being told by some other kids in middle school that I would sit like a girl because of how I'd usually cross my legs, don't recall understanding what they meant at the time.

I don't know exactly what you mean but generally speaking, some positions don't work in skirts and dresses so you get used to positions that are ok and you stick with those even when wearing pants.

Pardon the random photo I took off of google, but I think this is the sort of sitting position i'd usually do back then, and still do for the most part. That, or just my legs side by side together. I rarely sit with my legs open or apart.

Edited by PuppyDuckMSB: 4/28/2015 10:14:10 PMI see guys do that sometimes but mostly women do that, guys usually lay one leg sideways on top of the other bent at the knee (hard to describe) which would not work in a short dress or skirt! I don't know how much is that and how much is hip and leg shape or whatever other factor.

I think I know what you're talking about, you mean this kind of thing? I'll do that occasionally too, but I don't really find it all that comfortable compared to the way in the first picture.

Edited by PuppyDuckMSB: 4/28/2015 10:36:39 PMYes like that. I don't do that, I just tried it to see if it possible lol, it is, but the other way is more comfortable for me. The way you are supposed to do it is ankle cross (pic) but knee over knee is ok, you do still need to be careful in a short skirt or dress.

Ah, good to know. I don't go around in dresses or skirts normally, so i'm safe. lol
