This was going to redeem the silent franchise! Its defiantly a huge disappointment for any horror game fan. By the way nice link :-)

I'm abit disappointed too. But it's impossible to say that it would've redeemed the series unless you actually played the finished game. It could've turned out great, or it could've turned out so-so, or even misfired...we'll never know But if Kojima starts a new studio, there's nothing to stop him making a horror game using the same ideas he would've used for silent hills. So all might not be lost

The only thing that could make it worse now is if SOMA gets canceled too. I haven't heard anything about that game in a long while too. Granted its not a konami project but if that gets killed too horror fans are going to be very disappointed
