Unfortunately, you can't. Bungie does not provide services to restore lost characters of gear.

They added locks for weapons, think they'll add a password lock for characters?
-
Unsure. Me personally, I don't see any reason to add another security there. You already have to hold X/Square quite a long time and then you even must confirm the deletion. If characters get deleted, people are either really stupid or deleted it on purpose, to be really honest here.
-
But I mean like in this situation someone else deleted the character, for that purpose I think it's doable, but of course for that other reason you are right.

Edited by WoWXxXWoW: 4/27/2015 10:42:57 PMAnd my answer to that would be don't let other people have access to your account, lock it with a password and have them make their own account, there is no reason I can think of for why you would allow somebody to have access to your account knowing full well what the possible outcomes can be and deleting characters or other game info is not even the worst thing that comes to mind, plain and simple, if there are others using the console, lock your profile!!!
-
Well on ps3 I've yet to figure out how to lock my about without restricting access to all users.
-
Google, google is your friend
-
I've tried all I get its how to restrict access to games on the console
-
Put your profile on a memory stick. Don't leave that memory stick lying around.
-
? I don't understand
-
If your profile is on a memory stick, the only way to log into it is to have that memory stick or know your password. Thusly, the only way your characters are getting deleted is if you delete them, leave the stick lying around, or tell your enemies your password.
-
What system allows that

http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/158284/can-i-move-my-playstation-profile-from-hard-disk-to-usb Yeah, I just assumed you'd be able to do that, given how connected Sony's stuff is with other Sony stuff, and that you've been able to it on Microsoft for over a decade.

If I remember right, Bungie is getting ideas on how to make character deletions "less permanent" (whatever they meant with that). They will probably find a way to provide extra security.
