Your most embarrassing moment in a raid?
I think I had mine last night and I felt like such a fool. We're doing Atheon and he has a sliver of health left we get teleported to Venus and thinking I'm running gunslinger for oracles I pop my super and oh no I'm bladedancer and cause us to wipe. So embarrassing.

Jumping over the center platform in the vault to misadventure. Trying to run across the bridge before it's built when you don't know how to do crota yet. ... Thank god I've got some runs under my belt now. I felt like a real idiot.

6 RepliesMy raid team got to the bridge part and I volunteered to use the sword to get to the other side. This was my first time using the sword and i was all ready to go across, and I ground pounded... -__-

Doing the 34 PoE twice in a row I blew myself up with Ghorn right after my teammate dropped a bubble (which I knew was coming, especially the second time). Wipe and farm another super.

That very first time you rocket yourself to death during VoG while in the bubble shield.... and THEN everyone warns you about it. Womp womp wooooommmmmmmp

Templar hard mode, 4 manning it. Templar almost dead, 2 team members drop. Other remaining team mate picks up relic, we cleanse, Templar only needs one or two rockets to die. Relic holder drops Templar shields, I jump and let off a rocket. I blow myself up on a low hanging ceiling piece.

Crota chases us every where and knocks alll our bodies to a pile which he stand over it doing oversoul animation, soon my friend said thats how baby guardians are made

Having crota on the last run waitin for him I go back center. Standing at the window watching him then my son grabs my remote and shoot a rocket in my face. Just say everybody was pissed

Thought we were loading in to the start of VOG....started running forward in advance. We ended up loading into Templar and I run off the cliff and die. Ha

Last night I was running hm vog and I died jumping from the left gate to the right gate. 3 times in a row =/

Telling a fireteam that u have a cp and then you find out that you haven't.

Telling your shit fire team that they need to pick it up and stop dieing, and then you die. That happens rarely to me but when it does.. I feel like a dumbass

The first time i did VOG, I punched a gorgon right in the face and it cost us the perfect raider trophy as we beat the rest flawlessly.

I can no longer count on my fingers and toes the amount of times I've died by blowing myself up with rockets inside of Templar detainment shields and the Aegis Shield on Atheon.

Tried to 360 Crota, I messed up. The first two times I did it first try, but this third time I bounced off Crota lol

Sword bearer and had my rocket equipped.. went a little slow to get there and on the last take down needed one hit to finish him but the sword disappeared and I rocket launched myself in the face

I was on my first VoG with some friends and we were all running it for the first time except for one guy. We had wiped DOZENS of times at least because 3 guys were under leveled. We were almost done with Atheon after probably 30 attempts and the timer on the relic was almost done. I ran out of sniper ammo and tried to shoot one rocket hoping it would kill him off without having to teleport again. I didn't know rockets couldn't go through the shield. Needless to say, I died and the team wiped shortly thereafter. It was the first time we wiped because of me and I felt like a total idiot.

Dying in 15 seconds after starting the gatekeeper on hard, multiple times. Felt like such a noob that day.

I was helping my friend at Crota checkpoint on normal because he needed one more person. After several times our swordbearer messed up I started getting mad (I was in a bad mood that day to start with). I finally say let me run sword and we'll get through this in this run. So I pick up the sword and I'm going to the ledge. Team brings him down perfectly I missed the timing and could only do 2 hits. Next time he goes down I messed up the timing again and I tried to do 3 hits but Crota stood up and killed me. Guess it wasn't my day…

Not really my moment but we were running crota at the bridge. We have 5 warlocks and a hunter. So the hunter crosses the bridge so we wipe on our side. The mobs despawn and we self rez. Except I'm the only one who remembered fire born so 4 others are just dead for half an hour
